Synchronization of contact/customer data between SalesLogix and Quickbooks.  SalesLogix is Account centric.  A customer is an ‘Account’, and each Account has many contacts, with one account tagged as ‘Primary Contact’ (CONTACT.ISPRIMARY field). QuickBooks has ‘Customers’ and ‘Jobs’ (Customer: Job).

SLX to QB: Read from ACCOUNT table and looking for primary contact in CONTACT table where CONTACT.ACCOUNTID = ACCOUNT.ACCOUNTID. For a new synchronization, insert record into QB. For repeated synchronizations, verify if record exists in QB, if so update information using the QB RecordID.

QB to SLX: Read from CUSTOMER list and update information in SLX. First time synchronization if starting with a blank SLX database would result in inserting an ACCOUNT/CONTACT record pair for each QB customer. Repeat synchronizations would result in updating SLX records.
