v      Lead architect responsible for systematically identifying, documenting and developing a roadmap to remediate over 200+ individual line of business application supporting a two-year business cloud transformation effort.

v      Provided strategic guidance and technical oversight for cloud based workflow and collaboration environment supporting over 350 clients.

v      Primary architect to lead an enterprise system consolidation and virtualization effort to reduce overall data center footprint from 150+ physical servers and appliances to less than 30 physical systems realizing $2MM reduction in operating costs year over year.

v      Transformed the IT organization from a cost center into a strategic business partner. Established joint business/ technology IT Steering Committee to drive future IT initiatives.

v      Developed standards and processes enabling the client to phase out several legacy applications thus lowering support costs by 25%. Worked closely with analysts and presented findings to IT Steering Committee for direction and approval.

v      Manage multi-million dollar budget across wide range of IT initiatives to enhance overall IT business value.

v      A founding member of the Mayfly program, a joint venture between Microsoft and BT to assess and deliver the value of Microsoft UC products and cloud technologies to select Microsoft customers.  With an initial investment of US$700K, the Mayfly Program yielded US $17MM in license-attached revenue to Microsoft. Attained senior member status within the core Unified Communication Center of Excellence (COI).

v      Accelerated application development by leveraging RAD framework coupled with a virtualized development environment to support the systems development life cycle.

v      Established policies for mobile computing and smart phones reducing the support costs for mobile end-user devices by 30%.

v      Developed team to establish enterprise architecture standards and process model to provide operational excellence of corporate IT application support needs. Reduced IT support costs and established ELAs and SLAs with vendors. Created strategic technical team from ground up.
