Technical Project
Manager responsible for implementing a $9 Million High Availability /
Disaster Recovery solution in Little Rock for a Production application
hosted in Chicago. Managed the entire build out of the infrastructure
to support the environments. The Recovery Time Objective (RTO) for
this environment was under 30 minutes with a Recovery Point Objective (RPO)
of 1 hour. This application has a financial impact of over $10
Million per day of downtime for the organization. The solution was to
mirror the environment and replicate the data through EMC’s SRDF/A.
This entailed the build out various environments from Unix/Wintel Servers
to WAN/LAN and SAN Infrastructure. Managed a team of over 50 individuals in
various locations throughout the United States to implement this solution.
Plan, direct, and coordinate activities
of small to large IT projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects
are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Had
overall responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities
pertaining to the establishment of the project group assessments, project
process maintenance. Hands on as well as high-level review of project
approaches, Visio diagrams (technical and hierarchal), statements of work,
and vendor management.
Responsible for the migration of
numerous application environments, due to data center closures, in Santa
Ana, California over to Chicago, Illinois. Environments include
