Sales Engineer/Solution Engineer

Solution Engineer actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working

in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for the Ubuntu platform.

As a Sales Engineer, articulates Canonical technology and product positioning to both business and technical

• Ensures Canonical provides the highest level of service delivery. Implementing customer projects from

custom designs and maintaining any necessary client contact until project is completed.

Role involves developing, designing and presenting technical solutions to customer technical

requirements.

responsible for maintaining relationships with the channel partners technical staff and sales account

company. The project involved multiple locations that required fail-over clusters and disk

Directed the platform design, network architecture, procurement, implementation, testing and quality

control of a system infrastructure.

Managed mission critical servers at the primary data center of a major financial services company. Established
