·   A new initiative to Design - Integration of HSBC Greenfield Compliance system, a smaller replica of HSBC global compliance system tailored for US Banking business. The data requirement for Greenfield should through IBM MDM (Master Data Management) and Oracle ODS. Realigned the data architecture, application interfaces, data transformation and redefined the compliance defense layers, metadata-driven design that helps to align business goals and IT activities, provided consistent terms and rules to capture business specifications to automate the tasks, gained greater insight to data by tracking its lineage.

·   Studied the adoptive MDM framework and its scalability, availability and consistency through data quality, performance and data accessibility.

·   Integration of MDM framework through SOA/Web Service interfaces to enhance the business process and workflows. The additional layer offered by SOA to implement stricter adherence to data Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance.

·   Defined the BPMN, Workflows, Policies and Business Process orchestration for Master Data Creation, Master Data Governance and Master Data Consumption. ·   A solution design for to address the Internet Protocol Detail Record (IPDR) data usage issues affecting the Comcast billing, accounting, provisioning and analytics. The solution delivery was part of Agile B/OSS initiative to help Customer, Billing, Provisioning and governance.

·   Designed the overall architecture, solution artifacts, PoC, interfaces and data infrastructure.  Created a technical design and architecture using a java open source J2EE, Jersey, Datastax Cassandra Opcenter. Created a widget based search UI interface, web services and Splunk analytics dashboards, A solution to address the Comcast IPDR usage data issues. The new data repository was made available to other LOBs.

·   Installed Hadoop (HDFS), prepared pig scripts to push file data into HDFS. Build the MapReduce code to access the data from HDFS. Integrated Jersey in Spring framework. Created RESTful services (WSDL) within the application, developed  artifacts and code for  webservices  to be consumed  by other applications. 

·   Configured Cassandra datastax  OpsCenter to monitor HDFS clusters, visualization of capacities , logs  and provisioning analytics.  

·   Revamped the legacy Threat Assessment System (TAS) and near real time Event notification system using a fail proof, high availability and Scalable solution (Storm, Kafka and Hadoop).

·   A brand new Initiative, Delivery of enhanced consumer capability model strategy through, Architectural solutions for user modeling and adaptation in semantics-based, cooperative information applications such as Oracle Endeca web commerce ATG solution to enhance cross-channel commerce, merchandising, and online customer experiences.

·   Created solutions for merging or bridging multiple adaptive applications through ESB SOA for existing Spring Hibernate application suit and external web service based applications. Redesigned the existing Spring-MVC framework and design pattern based applications to accommodate the application portfolio decoupling. Used caching technologies such as Oracle Coherence 3.7 with Hibernate persistence layer for performance tuning to improve the user experience, scalability resulted in improved SLA. Manageability of metadata repositories such as XSD's, WSDL, Workflows, XSLT, UDDI, Policy management improved the governance and data stewardship.

·   Designed an open-source solution for Visualization, Workflow execution and Business Process orchestration &  Rules management using JBPM 5 to implement the various discount and specials for the apple products. Created the ESB Webservices, iBatis and JBPM integration framework, embedded the runtime engine, process repository, runtime executions and history. The runtime BPM/BPR option helped significantly reduce the development efforts. Interfaced the graphical process designer to create and manage the workflows.    

·   Designed the Intermediate solution to integrate Applications, SAP R/3 db and SAP PI BAPI calls using RFC adaptors to access the SAP PI web services.

·   Created deployment architecture for ESB. Integrated Subversion, Jenkins-Hudson and Sonar for continuous build deployment, release management and version control.  Fully automated build management was the target state architecture.

·   Created a large off the shelf EASE product array comprising of many modules based on J2EE and open source technologies. This whole exercise was about conversion of existing Powerbuilder-Sybase based EASE client server applications to web based technologies. Major work was Analyzing the old application, prepare data base design, data Mapping, application design, hands on development, testing and implementation of Export automation product suit.   

·   Handled the operations support issues to meet the deadlines. Ensured the seamless integration of various EASE product modules with the client IT systems and databases(Oracle, SQL server, DB2). Created as is, to be state architectures for client integration/migration for EASE products such as Watch List Screening System, DOS/DOC electronic Licensing, Export Document System (ExDS). ·   Assisted the Business about the pre sale feasibility of Export Compliance product suite implementations, EASE (Export Automation Software Essentials) integrations with existing client DB/ERP system.
