·               Battle Command System of Systems Tiger Team member involved with a variety of Systems Engineering efforts. Managed the early phase of the Integrated Master Schedule data collection. Coordinated the web services data call for the new Battle Command Common Services stack.

·               Architected a proposal to build a validation tool for the JC3IEDM (Joint C3 Information Exchange Data Model). We won the proposal in June 2006.

·               Coordinated PM Battle Command participation in Army Software Block Execution planning, reviews, and data calls. Oversee participation by Maneuver Control (MCS), Global Command & Control Army (GCCS-A), Common Software, and Battle Command Sustainment Support System (BCS3). Ongoing schedule coordination, standards conformance and risk assessment is performed for all GCC2 systems in the Block.

·               Provided technical support to initial phases of WebCOP (Web Common Operational Picture) development. Familiar with Commercial Joint Mapping Took Kit (C/JMTK) components and ESRI desktop products.

·               Represented PM Battle Command at Task Force Networks in Fort Gordon. Tasks included facilitating communications with GCC2 engineers, supporting the Field Integration Office (FIO), and coordinating network performance data.

·               Supported the Army Battle Command System (ABCS) System of Systems Engineering and Integration (SSE&I) planning efforts with a focus on GCC2 system engineering. Summarized issues and presented results to management.

·               Lead the IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) Team in PM Battle Command’s Technical Management Division. Tasks involved planning, coordination, and technology assessments.

·               Provided technical advice to PM Battle Command leadership on new technology in the Tactical Operation Center (TOC) 3D program.

·               Led the team that created the currently fielded Commander’s Information Center (CIC) Large Screen Display. As a team we architected, selected COTS software, prototyped, integrated, tested and trained soldiers at Fort Drum and Fort Polk on the capabilities of this high-resolution flat-panel tiled array.

·               Setup and demonstrated the CIC LSD at the Pentagon to Army leadership.

·               Led the Java Working Group of the Common Operating Environment Integrated Product Team. The group determined the role of Java in the Army’s Battlefield Command System. Created three presentations on Java: Java Highlights, Java Distributed Computing, and DCE/Java Integration

·               Led evaluation of Java Development Environments. Managed the effort to examine use of JavaBeans component technology to provide an infrastructure for data exchange between Battlefield Functional Areas.

·               Led the Collaborative Planning Common Operating Environment Integrated Product Team. Managed the assessment of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf desktop Video Teleconferencing, Whiteboarding, and Chat products for insertion into the Army’s Battlefield Command System deployment in September 2000.

·               Team Leader for Army Tactical Command and Control Technology Insertion Office. Coordinated the efforts of team members toward selecting, evaluating, and demonstrating the latest technology on Windows NT and Sun systems.  Focus was on Fortezza encryption, Unix/NT interoperability, Speech Recognition, Storage Devices, Java, and Desktop Video Teleconferencing.

·               Managed the Technology Insertion contract. Monitored contract expenses. Primary interface to prime contractor. Generated status reports and assure contract deliverables are satisfied.

Chase Manhattan Bank, New York, New York (July 1996 to January 1997)

·               Coordinated launch of Chase retail web site.  Interfaced to business unit to define requirements and set implementation schedule.  Defined process for updating web site.
