n            Spearheaded the Windows application, Website Manager, project by converting content targeted for smart phones and tablets; reformatting it into a website-friendly visual display.

n            Designed and coded content distribution, customer download, and usage data upload services by leveraging services built on Amazon's AWS platforms, including SQS, S3 and RDS services.

n            Wrote portions of the perf pipe, a Service Quality Management (SQM) based tool to record and upload performance data in released versions of Windows. 

 

Microsoft           2002-2008

Senior Development Lead - MIG Group (Windows Division)

n            Authored a proposal and secured management approval to execute a vision of recovering Task Scheduler from maintenance mode and driving through full-scale execution.

n            Gathered a team for supporting the execution of the plan, while leveraging 30 in-house customers shipping with Windows Vista (all with hard dependencies on Task Scheduler for respective product success) to drive recommendation for Task Scheduler as the solution for performance and security problems.

n            Developed Task Scheduler enhancements, including an XML-based job description language, event triggered tasks, tasks composed of multiple actions, in-proc action handlers, and large improvements to security and performance.  

n            Earned recognition from the industry and secured extremely positive reviews.
