Technical Director - Architect

 

Lead Architect for Symantec Encryption (former PGP & GuardianEdge). Responsible for modernization of the product lines (endpoint disk encryption, file encryption, key management, email, and gateway) to be cloud compatible and protect data in the cloud using the latest technology.

 

Technical architect for the SPC (Symantec Protection Center) 3.0 release with advanced data collection, analytics and dashboard visualizations for IT administrators and CISO executives. The on premise data collection and analytics product is complimented by a cloud base (Symantec hosted) secure gateway and an executive focused mobile application available for iOS Mobile users.

 

Architect leading a team responsible for future product integration architecture of CCS (Compliance, Risk & Policy) and SPC technologies into a cohesive product offering using the latest hosting technologies. Blueprint architecture provides a cloud friendly, high scale and available application for customers demanding significant volume of data to consume, analyze, visualize and take action on.

 

Responsible for the blueprint architecture of a cloud based offering for consumption, analysis and visualization of a superset of SPC 2.1 functionality using Hadoop, Cassandra and new dashboards (selection process of BIRT, Pentaho, Jaspersoft or custom). Incoming data analytics was architected for flexibility and scale using Hadoop for multi-tenant support.

 

Part of the core architecture team responsible for infrastructure architecture for the next generation Control Compliance Suite (CCS 9.0, 9.0.1 and 10.0).
