·     Re-Architected & Upgraded GE’s private cloud using: HP Blades (C7000 Chassis, ProLiant BL460c Gen9), VMware vSphere 5.5 U2, VMware vCloud Director 5.5.2, VMware Orchestrator 5.5, & Chef Configuration Management 12

Ø         This redesign increased server density from 40VMs per host to 73VMs per host saving GE over $600,000 year one; with the savings projected to surpass $2.8 Million through years two and three.

·     Wrote hundreds of Chef Recipes, Orchestrator workflows, & PowerShell scripts to orchestrate and automate the provisioning of Platform as a Service (Paas) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offerings provided in the private cloud

·              Automated the deployment of ESX host using VMware Auto Deploy to enable us to standup ESX hosts in minutes rather than days.

·                     Architected & Implemented POC solutions including the following technologies: VMware vCloud Automation Center, VMware AppDirector, VMware ITBM, VMware vSan 2.0, VMware vSphere 6 Beta, Cloudbolt, Pernix Data, & Mirantis OpenStack
