I am an accomplished draftsman and surveyor with 20 years of Engineering Technician experience in the United States Air Force.  I have experience in construction inspection, quality assurance, construction material testing, computer aided drafting, construction surveying, basic design consideration, cost estimating. I have managed several drafting/surveying shops and acquired a firm grasp on the basics of Engineering Management.  I also have an active Secret clearance.

Surveying and Drafting

Mar 2013 to Present- Worked for RMS/IAP as an Engineering/CAD Designer providing drafting support for Architects, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Engineers to produce complete drawing sets for various projects at Al Udeid AB, Qatar.

 

Jan 2012 to Mar 2013 – Worked for Sallyport Global Services as a Designer. Provided drafting support for Architects, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Engineers to produce complete drawing sets for various projects in Afghanistan.

 

Jul 2011 to Jan 2012- Worked for RMS/IAP as an Engineering/CAD Designer providing drafting support for Architects, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Engineers to produce complete drawing sets for various projects in Afghanistan.

 

Jul 2010 to Jul 2011 – Worked for HRJI as a Lead Drafter/Surveyor.  Provide map services to Joint Base Balad.  Surveyed base infrastructure using GPS and used CADD/GIS to create accurate facility and infrastructure plans.

 

Jan 2008 to May 2010 – Worked for Anthem Education Group as a Computer-Aided Drafting Program Manager.  I developed, implemented, and directed the Computer Aided Drafting program and maintained curriculum in accord with accreditation, state, and federal guidelines.

Experience

·  Drafted the plans for a 70’ wooden communications tower estimated at $105K.

·  Created plans for 3 different guard tower projects at 3 different operating bases.  These plans included the structural, electrical and mechanical drawings.

·  Mapped all utilities for $440 K utility upgrade project at Sheik Isa Air Base, Bahrain.

·  Surveyed, developed drawings, and generated requirements for $38K project to replace carpet, ceiling tile, and wall finishes in the Drug Reduction Center.

·  Drafted, surveyed, and designed drainage for a 700’X 250’ aircraft parking worth $700K.
