Responsibilities include the administration, coordination and software/hardware architecture of the city’s GIS system.  Also consults with department heads and users on various GIS applications and functions necessary to sustain city GIS usability processes.  Various duties include supervision of up to five GIS staff, ArcGIS10/SQL database management, preparation and maintenance of the GIS budget, QA/QC processes, data automation/conversion, map production, training and website development.
