pump station was engineered for specific site and performance demands and
included all structural, mechanical and electrical/telemetry systems.
The pump stations were purchased by private owners, municipalities and
government agencies. My responsibilities in this position included customer
interface, communicating with civil and professional engineers, and
evaluating architectural and civil drawings and site plans to make sure the
integration of our pump station package fit seamlessly into the scheme of the
clients’ project. My duties took the projects from initial customer
interface through the complete sizing and design of the system to the
complete documentation package, which included detail drawings, 3D models and
a complete Bill of Materials for the entire system. AutoCAD Conversion and File
System Management: When I started with Romtec, one of my main responsibilities
was to upgrade the company’s drawings from 2D AutoCAD to Autodesk Inventor
3D. I recommended and directed the purchase of the product and was
instrumental in the installation and implementation of the program. I
created an entirely new part numbering and inventory control system, as well
as developed a very comprehensive parts library for the Inventor
program. My efforts streamlined the entire process from the initial
quoting through design of the system to the release of the components to
final production. It dramatically increased the accuracy of the entire
process, from pricing to reducing errors and omissions in drawings and Bills
