Assignment to ARCO / BP Refinery: Worked from Jan 2009 to Present and Apr 1998 to Sep 2001 at BP CBU
Refinery in Carson, CA. MOC administration using KMS Software. Checking for PSM adherence per federal
guide lines for engineering department deliverables. Project Coordinator for the Design and Documentation
Department. Duties included daily CAD and department software maintenance (troubleshooting and application
solutions). Coordinate the CAD and Engineering requirements for the contractors submitting work for the
refinery. Making sure the CAD Standards and software are updated and current. Developed and maintained the
departmental printing standard using the Equorum CADnet software solution. Established a vendor pool and
handled the procurement of the software, hardware and software for the Design and Document Department.
Assignment toTesoro / Shell /Equilon Los Angeles Refinery: Worked from Supervised a staff of up to ten
seconded employees for the Technical Services Department. They consisted of Document Control Specialists,
Inspection CAD operators, Piping, Electrical and Control Systems Designers. The projects needed to be
monitored and managed out of capital and expense engineering budgets and plant maintenance budgets. The
Document Control staff populated the Filenet EDMS System with hardcopy and electronic documents. They
reviewed format and revision hierarchy so the documents conformed to the standards and procedures before
populating Filenet. If files needed rework the files would be rejected and sent back to the contractor. As an
alternative I maintained a staff of CAD designers that did the work onsite to expedite into the Filenet system.
This helped to conform to PSM, HAZOP and MOC scheduling restraints. Managed a project of scanning all
hard copy engineering drawings intoTIF files to facilitate importing into Filenet. Managed backlog to be
outsourced to overseas office to reduce costs. Specified and procured large format printer, large and small
format scanners for the department. Member of Shell project team representing the Engineering Department
with local and corporate I/T project management to modernize the old WorkCenter EDMS Software. This was
to maintain database integrity and minimal loss of the existing features. After implementation was assigned to
Filenet Administrator of thick and thin client applications. This consisted of routine maintenance, altering data
fields and tables. I also managed the security permission policy for every user and groups. Assigned as SPI
(Intools) Administrator – Implementation Team Member. Developed training procedures for the Packages.
Member of Shell’s Standardtion team for CAD and Document Control methodologies for all Refineries in the
United States.

populate the index using drawing file data (attributes). Also approval of all electronic files submitted to the
Refinery. Managed the implementation of the OCE 9400 scanner to produce raster images utilizing group 4 file
compression. Implemented the raster editing package using CAD Overlay (Raster Design). Managed Airborne
System’s Refinery Mapping project, which consisted of producing AutoCAD drawings and aerial photographs.
Supervised the personnel assigned to the database population. Familiar with Novell and Windows Server
Operating Systems. Familiar with Microsoft Office Professional, Autodesk AutoCAD, CAD Overlay,
WorkCenter, WorkCenter for the WEB and DMS Pro. Extensive knowledge Pentium PC hardware and software
applications. Supervised the CAD Team on the TEXACO BOA Contract for the Jacobs Engineering Group.
The work consisted of CAD revisions on P&ID’s E&I drawings and Mechanical (piping, civil, etc) drawings.
This was done utilizing TEXACO Custom Software. Also maintained the integrity of this software and the
internal database of the drawing files (LISP and DBASE IV).
Jacobs Office: CAD Supervisor for the TEXACO LAP BOA Contract at the Los Angeles Refinery in
Wilmington, CA. Worked on the TEXACO Customized software packages for release to all contractors working
on electronic drawing files on TEXACO’s behalf. Worked on network an all aspects of PC related computer
software and hardware situations for the Piping Engineering Department. Supervised group of CAD Designers
for the client and Jacobs. Worked with CADPIPE software on the BP Alliance Refinery DHT Project. In charge
of maintaining ARCO’s P&ID software (ACES) at Jacobs. Worked on Emissions Control System for Beckman
