I joined 1stglobal business development team to provide better software solutions to their Clients. My role at 1stGlobal is to focus on building components in Salesforce both for Internal and the Advisors. My primary job is to get the internal business, database and users migrated from pivotal to Salesforce, as soon as possible and help business reduce their cost.

While working with Dibon I got the opportunity to work with one of the best Cloud Service providers, Appirio. It is one of the major contributors to the Salesforce AppExchange market, and is the possessor of a wide range of products like Professional Services Automation (PSA), Cloud Sync, Cloud Storage, CMC and Cloud Factor. Being a consultant for Appirio, I was able to work and contribute to all of these apps. While working with Appirio I also got a chance to attend a 4 day Administration Essentials Training(ADM-201).

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

·   Being a part of PSA team, I have worked with teams and business partners to Analyze Business requirement and identify practical solutions. I was responsible for the administration and ongoing support of the application.

·   As a System administrator I used and administered Salesforce CRM, and provided the best possible solutions to the customers – be it a support case request or an Enhancement request.

·   Designed, developed and deployed the Custom objects, Page layouts, Custom tabs, Components, VisualForce Pages, Apex classes to suit to the needs of the application.

Charles Schwab

 

Senior Software Engineer | July 2006 – June 2010

 

This multi-million dollar project was designed and implemented over a period of thirty months by a team of over 400 resources across the globe. The original Charles Schwab trading website was designed using Java/C/CGI which demanded high enhancement and maintenance cost. This project aimed at re-engineering it to a less complex and easily maintainable website by using .Net Technology. The legacy website was transformed to a customer centric website which met the current market standards. In the era of online banking and trading, it was critical to enhance the performance of the Charles Schwab website in order to support high demand. This project also required a thorough understanding of the existing website, expertise in web development domain, a highly analytical mind to identify areas of improvement and out of the box thinking to achieve high service quality.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·   Managed a team of two resources and was accountable for their productivity.

·   Helped lay the foundation of this mighty project by being an active member of the client facing as well as the development team right at the cradle stage.

·   Designed and developed web service Interface using C# Asp.net and WCF concepts.

·   Provided suggestions for cost effective solution by means of refactoring the web service interface layers into independent, easily manageable entities.

·   Was responsible for Configuration management and release scheduling

·   Worked with the client and management to understand the driving factor of the project (in this case, Keynote’s performance metrics). Provided inputs to select work items for each sprint and helped design release plans
