The GX Donor Portal for the National Christian Foundation (NCF) is a multilayered system for processing charitable giving. The system provides user account information, Processes charitable giving, Stores donor and charity information, Tracks charitable giving activities & Assists with goal planning for charitable gifts.

 

The three main components of the GX system are: Salesforce – User interface to various Donor Components/Objects, Jitterbit – Data transformation middleware application on Amazon EC2 & Stellar – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. These system components interact with other outside resources, such as Authorize.net for verifying credit card information and an SQL database on Amazon EC2 to parse data.

Roles & Responsibility

 

·               Responsible for creating and executing manual test cases and scripts around Donor Site (Customer facing site - which is powered by Saleforce implementation) both from Unit testing & Functional Flows perspective.

·               Development, staging & production access to cloud based Sales force to verify development, enhancement and defects.

·               Interact with SKUID team (which did development of SaleForces) to verify their components / objects as per functional documents.

Cruun replaces long email chains with a (facebook type) conversation in your browser. Users can create portfolios, projects and tasks. They can organize tasks, edit tasks, track the status, view pending tasks & assign tasks to others. The website also provides security driven capabilities to restrict users based on their role to edit certain properties of a task. Cruun operates in a web browser, with iPhone and android apps coming soon.

 

Roles & Responsibility

·               Test Web Application and the Web Services deployed on Tomcat on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Bindaas Bargain is an eCommerce website for daily deals on specific products. The portal has two main modules, one for Administration and other for Customers.  The customer facing module has several features like registration, shopping cart, shipment status, payment etc. I was trained in various activities which were undertaken in the area of Quality Assurance during the launch of this portal.

 

Roles & Responsibility

I worked as a Web Tester to ensure the quality of CR delivered based on the organization standards the web solutions which involved:

 

·               To test Web Application which is deployed on JBoss EAS on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux

·               Test My Account section for past orders, referrals, shipping addresses, customer support tickets and their status.

NIIT provide the offshore development & Quality Assurance support for various Change Request (CR) initiations that may be created due to ongoing product upgrade or Customer specific enhancements.

I worked as a Web & Content Tester to ensure the quality of CR delivered based on the Element K standards the web solutions which involved:

 

·               To test online learning Web Application and SOA components deployed on WebLogic on Solaris (unix based) platform

·               Was responsible for testing the internationalization of the site, converting the hard coded texts into keys that get displayed to the users and maintaining the xml file for it.

HDFC CFMS Application enables the firm’s customers to access their various credit accounts through their Web Site. The web-based application was created using HTML, JSP, Java script and the backend database which was on Oracle. The application enables the credit cards account holders to enter ‘Access ID’ to access and perform financial calculations on their various personal and institutional accounts. Customers can track charges and payments before they receive their statements, Pay their bills, Review past statements, Check Membership Rewards points balance.

The Web application was develop by another third-party Vendor and HDFC involved Gnix Infosoft for their product testing. My role as a QA resource involved following activities:

·               Create/update and review test specifications, developing test strategies, test plan and test reports for various Credit functionalities.

·               Documented Test cases for Functionality, Interfaces to third party sytem, Security, Performance and Load Testing.

·               Tested and analyzed response time of transactions, performance under load, network delays, system performance like CPU utilization etc

LAPS was developed as totally integrated end to end software product that automates the entire lending process of Syndicate bank. LAPS automate both retail and commercial lending. LAPS can collect personal, financial details of every applicant and presents the risk profile based on Pre-defined risk parameters.
With LAPS, any number of retail and corporate loan products can be created and shared to all/ select branches across the country over the Internet. All the branch needs is an Internet connection and access rights to enter LAPS. Loans can be processed in record time using LAPS.

 

My work profile was to test different loan products and test there integration with lenders. This involved the following activities:

·               Involved in analyzing Use-Cases, Business Rules documents to make sure they were clear and testable and provided the feedback to the BA team.

·               Created Test Scenarios and Test Cases based on system use-cases and business use-cases.

·               Used Quality Center for Traceability Matrix, Test Case creation and Test Case execution.

IPC’s Trading Hardware Systems division creates the IQMX™ Internet Protocol (IP) trading system. Using Voice over IP (VoIP), the IQMX system integrates the time-sensitive news and information directly against the same communications device used by a trader to place calls and execute investment transactions.

 

My work as QA Analyst was to modified test plans and created new test cases to validate functional enhancements.

DRDO’s IT development lab runs various internal projects where they involved internal & external technical team to automate much fabricated manual work. My job was to get involved in development of various utility applications for the organization. Some of the projects undertaken and completed are as follows. All applications were web-based and run on DRDO's Intranet.

 

I worked as a Web & Content Tester which involved:

·               Budget Transaction system: This software aims at automating the budget among various entities of DRDO ie., Hqrs & 51 labs of DRDO spread all over India.

·               Intra Messaging Application: application was designed to send and receive instant and offline messages among all the DRDO’s employees.

·               Created the front-end GUI application and managing all front end multi-thread processing logic through Java.

·               Used Java Swings & Beans to create and manage all front-end screens independent of the platform (the application was used both in Windows and Linux)

·               Implemented JDBC to connect to the POSTGRES database

·               Used jar and tar creation, and extraction for deployment

·               Used multi-threading programming for parallel execution of several modules in background. There was no constraint of the number of users accessing the application through the network (which includes both LAN and Dial up Users).
