TradeSphere – Unisys

 

Role: Software Developer

Description:

It’s a web-based tool by JPMorgan Chase customized for Unisys. The current Tradesphere system exists in forte language and is currently being migrated from Forte to core Java. The customizations consist of 4 major parts namely Data maps (Which are interfaces developed by Vastera and customized by Keane to pull data from the ERP side to the TradeSphere database), Export Determination Scripts (these are core Java scripts developed by Keane depending on the requirements provided by Unisys. These scripts are designed to automatically calculate the VAT for a particular country and also to check for compliance of custom rules), Documents (the TradeSphere system generates certain documents such as the commercial invoice automatically depending on the results of export determination scripts), Scripts (these are a combination of core Java and SQL used to clean up the database on an scheduled basis).

Responsibility:

·   Working as an acting Offshore Team Lead and Developer for the project.

·   Coordinating with the clients and gathering the requirements for the project.

·   Design and review of all deliverables of all enhancements and developments.
