Completed several FTTH projects that included splicing, testing and troubleshooting fiber optic services from the C.O to the home. (C.O) spliced and tested FDC, FDP, Patch panels and termination Shelves. Ran patch cords from panels to lasers then to servers and back to OSP to customers. (OSP) Spliced fiber routes in Hand holes, Manholes, Vaults and NID box @ customer premise. In addition to splicing osp plant required to produce splicing schematics, asbuilt drawings, and fiber assignment documentation. Have done several HOTCUTS tying new cable into existing cable to complete fiber rings! Provided these services for such telecom companies as: Bay Springs Telecom (MS), Lafayette Utility Services (LA), Nortex Telecom (TX), Five Areas Telecom (TX), US Army-Fort Bragg NC. Also worked on wind farms (Turbine energy) linking wind turbines together to communicate with generator house thru fiber optic cables in TX, OK, and KS.

Spliced, tested, troubleshoot and locate u/g facilities for Time Warner telecom on the new Atlanta Ga Hewlett Packard fiber rings. Linked all of HP sites together with a protect and serve fiber ring throughout the Atlanta metro area. Did 2 fibers in/out termination and laser light pass thru set up for monitoring traffic for data transfers. Locate and protect these facilities from other excavation thru the one-call b4udig centers. Supervised u/g bore projects installing HDPE ducts, provided survey station numbers bore profiles and redline asbuilt drawings to engineering group for future plant location and protection.
