I am an experienced, dependable telecommunication technician, proficient at installing, terminating, and testing fiber-optic cable and copper. Provisioning of routers, DSL cabinets & cellular switching .Education is up to date in all aspects of fiber optic technology. Bicsi Technician Certification. I own my own power/hand tools, as well as OTDR’s, precision cleavers and other fiber optic tools, necessary for installations.  I have a willingness to travel, excellent computer skills—Windows 2000, XP, Win7 .

      terminating & testing.

 

FIBER OPTICS:         Proficient at: fusion splicing, connectorization and assembly of fiber

                                   jumpers, restoration, system losses/values and acceptance scales,

                                    testing/troubleshooting with OTDR and power meter.  Assembly of various

                                   OSP case's that house 250micron fiber: PLP coyote lines, Keptel 100, 200

                                   & 300, multilinx, Raychem, Corning, Lucent, Tyco.

 

CELLULAR:               CDMA, TDMA and gsm network experience, installation, testing and turn-

                                   up of modcell 2.0 for Verizon. Rigging, Installation of power cables to

                                   equipment and connectorization and testing of foam, coax cables.

INFRASTRUCTURE: Building Ironwork, installing bays, running conduit, fiber raceways.
