n Establish and implements project management processes and
methodologies to ensure small and medium projects are delivered on time,
within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer
expectations. Identifies all project stakeholders, define and clarify
project roles and responsibilities for all employees in the Southwest
Region.
n Maintain project schedules and track key project milestones and
adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet needs of customers.
n Document and coordinate changes to scope, cost, schedule, or quality
across the entire projects.
n Communicate major milestones and identify potential project risks,
conduct regular status meetings to review project activities, and manage
prioritization procedure across the board for all Projects.
n Proactively make contact with customers by contacting them upon
receipt of order, providing timely and accurate updates throughout the life
of the order while evaluating and responding appropriately to customer
issues and requests.
n Ensures compliance with the defined process and/or implementation
throughout the life of a project to ensure on-time completion.
n Creates, manage, and coordinates project plans, specifications, and
presentation documentation on projects, based on customer requirements and
project timelines. Track and maintains project issues and facilitates
resolution as soon as they arise.
n Provides feedback to upper Management regarding quality standards
and possible areas of improvement.
n Coordinates construction activity with in house and contract
resources and conducts field inspections and meetings to ensure quality
control and time lines are met. Accountable for completion of construction
projects. Creates and updates daily production reporting of in-house
production crews. Assists in financial tracking, production forecasting and
annual budgeting for all Projects.
n Attend and conducts project coordination and management meetings
with developers, local utility companies, customers, general inquiries and
staff as needed. Maintain effective lines of communication between all
customers to pro-actively resolve issues.
n Inputs data into the project trackers/database, to include
cost/unit, cost/mile, labor cost, material forecast, and perform data entry
for construction schedules.
n Provide progress reports on construction projects.
n Oversee all Engineering & Permitting, interprets and understands
Right Of Way and Building and Safety permit plans and associated drawings.
n Issues and tracks status on engineering/building and safety permits
as well as installation process. Interprets and understands civil
engineering and architectural plans and field projects associated with such
drawings. Review, researches, categorizes, coordinates and communicates
details on residential and commercial Conflict review, abandonment and
encroachment.
n Coordinates project scheduling with in house crews/Sub Contractors,
design, permitting, and construction resources including but not limited to
joint trench placement, joint use, and new construction of fiber optics and
schedule splicing of backbone and lateral rings.
n Conducts field inspections and meetings to ensure quality control
and time lines are met. Assists leadership with completion of construction
projects. Creates and updates daily production reporting of in-house
production crews and sub-contractors
n Manage and coordinate all Cox Communications CB installs, Level 3
Communications OSP and ISP installs and Ericsson/CenturyLink installs for
the Phoenix Market.

n Maintain Level 3 Facilities in the Phoenix Metro Local Market with
an extensive knowledge of the business operations of both inside and
outside plant.
n Responsible for approx. 60+ miles of Fiber Optic Cable, Maintenance
and Repair (Splicing, Testing and Emergency Restoration).
n Security (Route Surveillance) of Metro Fiber and Manholes.
n Maintenance of ROW agreements and relationships, especially in
relation to Metro Plant relocation activities.
n Responsible for Contract Cable locators, relocation projects,
restoration, dark fiber, new lateral builds and many other duties.

All transport, IP, Soft switch and Infrastructure elements as well as Base
building critical System support. This includes all aspects of the
installation, maintenance and repair of our transmission services and
equipment, as well as any necessary builds for each of these sites.
