Responsible for day to day addition of new OME-6500 7-slot OLA Shelf to new or existing RR per REV drawing or spec; Add new fiber management trays, Ciena power from PDB to OME-6500 shelf; OSP fibers to OME-6500 shelf, DNC Connections and console connection, ie running fibers and power run fibers terminating directly to the FDP from Ciena equipment using JP0I cables.

Level 4 Lead Installer

Responsible for the installation of CAT 3, CAT5/5e, CAT 6 data, coaxial and Fiber Optic Cabling.  Installation, termination and cross connecting of telephone wall fields, Installation of necessary support equipment. Troubleshooting of all telephony, data and fiber optic problems, as well as general equipment troubleshooting, outside plant installation as needed, supervision of installation crew of 5-7 men.  Project management duties to include, site walk through and creation of material lists.

Responsible for the installation of Nokia DX200, BSC2, BSC3I, TESM, OSP, FTTP and FTTH. Installation of T1 cables to DSX bays, power cable from bays to BDFB, the stitching of all cables with a Kansas City, Chicago or power stitch mount and ground bay, as well as p-touch, wiring T1 cables by color code and paper work in the 3.2 book.
