SUMMARY
DAS Installation Technician / Voice Data Tech with 16
years of experience in the Telecom and Wireline industry including,
installation, and upgrading of 3G and 4G DAS indoor and outdoor systems in
public and private venues. Very skilled at premise or structured cabling and
terminating. Conducting site surveys C/W Testing. Installation of Coax/CAT5/6
or Fiber. As a certified fiber technician, Im well versed at conducting
performance and acceptance testing and wire sweeps. Proficient with using RF

DAS EXPERIENCE
· Installed and
commissioned Distributed Antenna Systems for a Florida Based Telecom Vender
throughout the United States, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii.
· DAS systems covered
T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint Carriers. Bands covered were
700,850-900 MHz, 1900 MHz, and 2100Mhz AWS.
· Installed Base
Station Equipment, cable trays, cabling, repeaters and antennas.
· Performed site
surveys, provided design input and reviewed equipment locations for headend
equipment, fiber infrastructure and power/battery back-up placement as well
as verified antenna locations.
· Walk tested
existing areas for signal level and signal interference with JDSU equipment
equipment.
· Identified areas
requiring additional DAS system reinforcement. Performed before and
after spectrum analysis. Ensured there was no interference from spectrum.
Ensured optimal signal coverage and managed cellular carrier coordination.
· Performed cable and
Antenna sweeps.
Worked
with Signal generators, Spectrum Analyzers, OTDR and Fluke test equipment.
· Installed antennas
and head end BMTS units. Installed and configured software.

WORK HISTORY
10/19/2012 to 12/1/2012- Completed work as a
Lead on a major DAS installation project in Las Vegas, Nevada. System
Installed was an ION M on behalf of AT&T. Fisk Electric of Las Vegas was
the contracted installation company. I work as a representative of Commscope.
My scope of work varied. I worked with the RF Engineers on a daily basis as
well as monitored construction activities of Fisk Electric.
08/2012 to 9/28/2012 - Completed work
as a team member on a DAS installation team. Specific duties include Fiber
Splicing and Testing. (Location is the LP Stadium in Nashville, TN. Home of
the Tenn. Titans Football Team)
07/2012 to 08/2012 - Worked as a contractor
on a DAS Audit Team for AT&T Texas Market. Responsible for acquiring walk
test data and, compiling configuration data, making changes to UL/DL parameters
if necessary from each assigned DAS site in the Texas Market. (AT&T) Also
complete CW testing with JDSU test equipment.
08/2011 to
07/2012 - Returned to Voice Data Installation as well as owner of a Hosted VOIP
System
offrering voice
communication for residential and commercial end users. (Service Provider)
This service is self sustaining and continues to this day.
11/2008 to 07/2011 – As a contract team owner we traveled across
the United States Installing DAS Multiband Repeaters indoors as well as
outside. During this same period we aquired an Installation Contract of
installing 850MHZ, 1900MHZ, 2170 4G AWS Repeaters on 101 Military Bases
across the United States,
Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. Installed, configured and tested each system
for optimal operation. National Communications was the Prime Installation
Contractor. We are versed in the following equipment Installations (Andrews,
Comscope, LGC, ADC , Ericson, Mobile Access – and also JD TECH manaufactured
repeater systems) JDSU walk Test equipment.
08/2008 to 11/2008 - Installation contract of Cable TV service (Time Warner Cable,
Austin, TX, Waco, TX). Maintained a Satellite Headend for a 320 unit complex. ( Georgetown, TX Direct-TV).
Provided new installations and upgrades as well.
06/2007 to 07/2008 – Project Manager / Splicer for a FTTN, FTTH project which included 1500 Homes. Fusion Splicing and Testing (Turnkey Networks).
03/2004 to 03/2007
– Contracted services out for Voice / Data / CCTV Installations. In addition
I personally
installed or project managed projects ranging up to $1,000,000.00.

date (Warren Township School District Installed 615 Cameras at 14 different

I owned a company that provided these services. I maintained a fleet of 18-22
trucks. (Installers). Contract was discontinued when it was decided to
go to an employee based Installation Group.
