·  Project Manager:  Developing and submitting bids and narratives for potential contracts, project development/management, business plan development and presentation, invoicing, recruiting, business-process-improvement, and data management/tracking.

·  I am currently managing Verizon and Windstream projects for Tesinc (Dycom) with multiple managers and supervisors reporting to me. 

o  Windstream Projects. 

§   The Windstream project is approximately a one billion dollar, government stimulus project that spans across 14 states and includes over 2,500 job sites.  I am the author, developer, and manager of a tracking system used by Windsteam to track and report information on every process of this stimulus project (start to finish).  This database is used by the internal departments of Windstream as well as the many other companies preforming work on this project and incorporates but is not limited to the Google doc’s software. 

§   I am also a key player in the ongoing process development and improvement campaign that is responsible for ensuring the success of this large scale (Fiber to the Node) project.  On the Tesinc side, I am involved in the ongoing management and development of the following:

·                OSP engineering portion

·                Construction inspecting portion

·                Instillation, test and turn-up of field equipment

·                Cut development

·                Assignment

·                Special circuit accommodation

·                Cutover, cut inspections and field audits

·                Records cleanup

§   Over the past 3 years, this project has maintained a high level of interaction with many different departments within Windstream as well as the many construction and transport equipment companies involved. As the hired management company over this project, we hold 5-8 weekly conference calls, have become the problem-solving/teambuilding force that has made this project a success.

·  Being able to work so closely with so many project managers and executives from the many different companies all across America has been an endearing and educational experience and has certainly served as a launch pad for my career knowledge. 

o  Verizon Projects:

§   Florida Pole Vacate Project with 16 engineers and 8 drafters:  My challenge is to ramp production from 500 to 4500 pole-removals per month while maintaining a high level of quality.  I am in the process of recruiting 12 more engineers, 1 additional quality control employee, and 3 more drafters. The project involves planning, OSP engineering (fielding and design), permitting, drafting, and task coding.

Previous Experience

·   2008-2011:  Co-developer and manager of the Texas TIRKS and California TIRKS conversion and records-cleanup project.  TIRKS is the IOF and BAU inventory and assignment database of fiber that Verizon uses for all non-FTTP fiber and BAU.  (This was a very large and complex project that was closely followed by the very highest executives within Verizon.) 

·   2005-2007:  Co-Manager, including job priority management, assigning work, communicating with the customer, and operating as the “go to guy” for general drafting/ENG standard questions as well as information technology.  This role also included assisting on project development involving bid and pay rate development, acquiring the scope of work, process creation, and training employees to accomplish the assigned scope of work.

·   Single Point of Contact includes becoming adept at troubleshooting Verizon systems and software as well as building prosperous business relationships with key Verizon staff for cross-business integration.

·   Quality control and drafting includes FTTP, BAU, DBA, ICWR, FCWR, permits, work prints for Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, and California.
