           Project manager for current 200+ mile Fiber to the Home (FTTH) GPON project.  Responsible for all aspects of project including selection, purchasing, and inventorying of all project-related materials as well as all OSP-related materials.  Assist in the engineering and route selection of the proposed FTTH pole line and buried section routes of the project. Responsible for easement and permit collection including private, township, county, railroad, and state locations.  Supervise project inspector and maintain quality control of project (strand/fiber/duct/pole placement, fiber splicing and testing).  Prepare “as-built” prints after construction is complete. Responsible for all other day-to-day operations related to the FTTH project.

           Oversee power pole/joint use make ready project.

           Responsible for the planning and placement of all new FTTH service drops (aerial and buried), including inspection/quality control on the placement/splicing of the fiber drops.

           Assist in maintaining/installing telephone/high speed internet/IPTV service throughout a copper and fiber optic cable network in residential and commercial applications.

           Assist in responsibility for all outside plant construction and maintenance including cable splicing (copper and fiber), service drops (including FTTH), customer premise networking and installation, underground utility locating, pole change-outs, customer technical support, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.

           Central office experience in maintenance and troubleshooting on a Nortel DMS 10 switch with AFC and Calix fiber equipment (using Calix C7 for FTTH network).

           Coordinate and plan all other special projects as required. (i.e. line relocations due to road moves, bridge replacements, or other special projects requiring existing telephone facilities to be relocated)
