Hands-on Experience with Telcordia Network Engineer 5.0 and ARC/GIS. Experience with copper migration / cutover scenarios, both in CO as well as street cabinets. Experienced in working with sub-contractors, design reviews, quality control and approvals. Ensures the Key Account sites planned and necessary tools to perform site survey job. Responsible for Site survey to allocate equipment location and floor spaces status, DC power requirement (if applicable) for proposed equipment with specific of rate values and inventory of available DCDP panels and or AC requirement. Identify cable routes, length and connectors (breaker necessary) to install and integrate new equipment to existing one, this includes and not limited to power, E1s, SMTs, clock sources, management and identify availability of cable trays and ladders. Raise issue regarding the quality of survey at site and confirm status completion update to establish and facilitate work requirement. Responsible for Floor Plan Proposal and DC power request approval to provide soft/hard copy and documentation to Survey and Design group. Always comply strictly with all the technical, design specifications, guidelines and procedures from Network Operator and Huawei. Making sure that always has full cooperation and follows to the given instructions related to work to keep good progress to meet the Operators and Huawei requirements. Knowledge to compile documents and design functional specification to the purpose of SOW issued. Responsible for preparation of detailed design and technical part of MOP using Ne Tool software (Telcordia Network Engineer) which should be prepared as per Customer Premises and SOW requirements that contains details information for (Multi Service Access Node) MSAN system design and diagram, Rectifier rack diagram, DDF diagram. Hands-on Experience with Telcordia Network Engineer 5.0 and ARC/GIS. Experience of FTTx solutions and architecture, GPON as well as PtP. Experience with Access Networks planning/design. Knowledgeable about ISP Access technology and equipment like xDSL, MSAN, various CPE / NT and service delivery aspects. Experienced in working with sub-contractors, design reviews, quality control and approvals. Conduct site investigations in fields, buildings and record site investigation report for implementation of Costumer premises equipment (CPE) like ONT, ONU/MDU & EDA1500 for GPON Network and carry out onsite survey for ISP (inside plant) including infrastructure for different Optical Fiber Cable laying projects and Coordinate that the Quality Plan is employed by everyone in the project and monitor that the corrective actions decided upon are effectively carried out. Verify the awarded Bill of Quantity and submit detail implementation schedule along with any variation expected to initial Bill of Quantity. Responsible for the preparation of civil works proposal and floor plan proposals, in which a request to install new or additional items such as cable ladders, rack and power requisites to be submitted and showing the proposed location to be installed according to customer requirements and Ericsson rules. Responsible for hardware dimensioning which contains lists of equipments and materials required for the site which is checked and verified by authorized Ericsson staff which will handle material preparations and delivery. Proactively coordinating project and acting as central point of contact for project team including client ERICSSON Coordinators, Project Managers, and Project Assistants (Supervisors). Prepare and provide related departments with the product configuration and prepare Bill of Quantity (BOQ) as per the design network that will responsible for their accuracy and timeliness. Engineering, planning, designing and documenting complex communications networks of Fiber network (GPON, FTTH, FTTB) sites, Overall design and application for the deployment of the FTTH (Fiber to the Home) based on ITU-T G.984 (G-PON Gigabit-Passive Optical Network) standard architecture for design of Inside-side plant (ISP) facilities. Provisioning of detailed engineering design for the deployment of FTTx (Fiber to the User), based on GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) infrastructure for buildings benefits from the state-of-the-art converged access infrastructure that enables the delivery of services like voice, high speed internet, voice and multimedia over IP and IPTV (including High Definition TV, video on demand, and home entertainment). Ensures alignment between projects within the program as well as with external parties (partners, vendors, etc). Takes responsibility for the delivery of projects, leading project team members from Trans Telecoms and third-parties as required.  Act as the primary point of contact for the delivery of project(s). Ensures the optimum configuration of large systems and other associated equipment and bring to its full commissioning. Supervision for the installation, integration, commissioning and troubleshooting of ERICSSON RBS 2202, 2206 V1, 2206V2, 2216, RBS 3202, RBS 3206, RBS6201 Ericsson Mini Link Traffic Node 6P and 20P, Traffic Node 4 for GSM 900/1800 and 3G Phase 4 Sites for ALJAWAL Networks under Saudi Telecoms Co. using OMT and Mini-Link Craft. Conduct site quality inspection for preparation of site acceptance. Supervises fellow engineers for Preliminary and Final Acceptance Test of sites for 2G and 3G sites. Responsible in the acceptance tests of 3G sites which involves Site Installation Verification, Power System Verification, Node B Installation Verification, Antenna System Verification, Operation Verification Test, Power Failure Test, Iub Failure Tests, NFAN Card Switch Off Test, Transmission E2E connectivity check, External Alarm Check as per normal STC standards, Admission Control Tests, Power Control Tests, Congestion Control Tests, Site Integration Tests, and Handover Tests. Responsible in the acceptance tests of 2G sites which involves External Alarms testing using the OMT, RBS Antenna System Test using the ANRITSU Site Master, RBS Installation Test, RBS Site Integration Test, RBS Diversity Test, Power Supply Test, and Mini-Link Functional Test for Final Acceptance Tests of sites. Prepares the site documentation for the Final Acceptance Tests of 2G sites. Responsible in the script downloading, integration, and testing of the 3G Phase 4 & 5 Sites and quality inspection of the sites for Final Acceptance Tests. Performs site survey for transmission capacity upgrade and 3G co-located for 3G Phase 5 Project. Liaise with the Project Manager/Senior Engineer to solve technical problems that may arise during the implementation of a project. Interface with customers, Implementation Manager, Project Manager to identify requirements and provide technical system coordination and support.

 

POSITION: RAN IE Engineer / Acceptance Team Leader

Main Functions:

Arrange day to day Work Plan of Three Installation Engineering Section which includes 2G, 3G and Transmission Activities. Planning, preparation and completion of Site Installation Engineering Documents (SID) in accordance with Ericsson procedures and with respect to customer’s directives. Update Site Installation Engineering Documents (SID) into As-Built SID (C-Module Documents) after finalized installations. Performs Site Investigation / Survey to ensure that the space, power and civil conditions on site are compliant with the site requirements during PISM activity. Responsible for the preparation of Site Investigation Report (SIR) and Technical Site Survey Report (TSSR) as per Site Acceptance Form (SAF), Transmission Network Design (TND) and or Site Change Order (SCO) which contains detailed information about accessible physical space and power condition for the equipment to be installed and information about MDF, DDF. Responsible in preparation of Technical Site Survey Report (TSSR) and Making Civil Proposal Plans in ACAD Drawing files which specifies detailed requirements upon receiving data gathered in site investigations/surveys in field. Prepare Site Material Request (SMR) for installation for 2G New Site, 2G Change-out, 2G Expansion, 3G new Site, 3G Co-located and 3G second carrier, Transmission New Link, PDH link, Link Upgrade, Software Upgrade and Transmission Upgrade (Traffic Node). Planning and designing deployment of SDH, PDH and microwave technologies into the transmission networks. Familiar in preparation of Site Installation Engineering of RBS 2202, 2206 V1 & V2, 2216, 2308, 3202, 3206, 3216, 3308 of Ericsson including feeder cables and antenna system requirements. Interact with IE coordinators, Network Design, Civil Work and Implementation Team regarding technical issues. Responsible for Scheduling the PAT for all the scope (2G, 3G & TRM) and also for new sites (2G, 3G & TRM). Direct Interaction with client (Ericsson) for complete site quality. Managing Site Engineers and Supervisors for site visit for PAT. Coordinating with Civil Teams for the Handover of New sites to O&M. Coordinating with Rollout, RF and other technical teams to get the readiness of sites for PAT. Coordinating with Integration Team and MSC Team for the creation of CGI for New sites. Managing required documentation for site Acceptance. Follow-up with Customer the PAT Documentation submitted within the agreed KPI.
