Experience:

11.5 years in the Tekelec product line environment was involved in the original AT&T switch install in Charlotte NC, and have worked in numerous telecom markets. Los Angeles, Arizona, Las Vegas, New Mexico, Texas, Tampa, Chicago, New York, Little Rock, Scott Airforce Base, Camp Zama Airforce Base, Yokota Airforce Base, Hickam AFB, Scoffield AFB, Hawaii, Seattle, Portland, Alabama, Mexico City, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto/Markham Canada, Montreal Quebec, Beijing China, Tokyo, and Guam. 02/05/2013 – 02/07/2013 – Verizon Wireless Ontario Ca. Install SRX-00/-01 Tap bracket with (4) 10G Net Optics line taps, (8) LC – SC 50 micron duplex multi-mode fibers, (16) LC – LC 50 micron duplex multi-mode fiber, (8) SC – SC 50 micron duplex Multi-mode fiber, all cabling Brady labeled on both ends using flag labels on optical fiber, test all fibers using a Fluke Cable Analyzer and provide VzW with the results in job completion package.

 

01/15/2013 – 01/28/2013 – Sprint/Ericsson San Diego Ca. Install, test, label Juniper MX480 routers, LC to LC, interconnect and LC/SC fibers from routers to customer network. Test fibers end to end, test OOB and light levels. Daily reports to PM and customer. Work with Sprint engineers to verify tests, fiber ports, walk thru and sign off of Juniper installation.

 

04/12/2012-12/31/2012 – Dallas TX, Install, configure Cisco data switches, migration and provisioning. Fiber and inner bay cabling of Cisco ONS 1554, ST-40 optical networks, fiber characterization using JDSU 8000. Scope fibers 1310/1550/1625/1650nm for defects, contamination, chips, pits, scratches relative to the fiber core. Inspect, clean both male patch cord and female bulkhead connectors. Test range of OTDR Bi-directional modules for multimode and single mode that are passive optical networks optimized for insertion loss. Certify fiber physical layer on FTTx/PON, Access, Metro and Enterprise networks with analysis of end face conditions and instantaneous PASS/FAIL results. Test multimode and single – port LED source for power and loss measurement. Mount M-6 chassis, install, ECU, LCD, DC power units, run, dress, terminate power to fuse panel, grounds to chassis and customer ground bar. Run fiber jumpers to SFP modules and chassis data cards. All work performed for Time Warner, RCN Boston and Verizon. Daily status reports / Webex meetings with Project Managers and Optical installation teams.

05/07/2012 - 6/24/2012 - Walnut, California, Update software, firmware, (PMB) Power main boards to accommodate new software load, verify amperage throughout backplane, all HDMI, VGA, VA, YPbPr ports, quality control, calibration and assurance checks of touch screen components of digital signage and ePosters. Assist engineers with detailed deployment of digital products to customers and sales functions. OS load verification and calibration of ViewSonic tablets, and monitors.

01/18/09 - 02/24/11- Paetec Va Beach, Sterling, VA. Rochester, NY. 3 site project; Lead tech of 3 installers 384 Million ELAP project. Assist Engineers in remote software upgrade, Run health check of system, compare end health check in comparison. Install EF01 extension frame, Telco switches, migrate DC power to designated slots, install SM4G, MPSM cards for Measurement Platform, ping IP address to customer network, de-install DSM cards from database. Complete health check before and after maintenance upgrades. Capture files and daily reports to project manager.

 

07/13/09 - 07/31/09 - Verizon 2 site project; Santa Monica, Long Beach, CA. 384 Million ELAP project. Assist Engineers in remote software upgrade, Run health check of system, compare end health check in comparison.  Install Telco switches, migrate DC power to designated slots, 4-T1, 4-Multiport, 4-RJ45 cables dressed, formed to HUB and Butt/stripped, terminated to customer DSX panel. Verified end to end using Tekelec streaker board test kit.

 

06/09/09 - 06/30/09 - T-Mobile Bellflower CA. Tekelec 3 Frame expansion. Lead Technician for team of 4 installers. Drill floor, mount frames according to specs. Run, dress, terminate DC power to BDFB from new frame FAP’s, run, dress, terminate inner bay cabling, dress, lace cabling to ladder racks, 224 T-1s, 34 2 port lim cables butt/stripped terminated to customer DSX, streaker board test kit for cable verification end to end, Run health check of system, compare end health check in comparison.  configure, migrate, test IMT bus, HIPR cards, Flash configure database cards, verify GPL levels. Complete daily reports to project manager and customer.

 

05/09/09 - 05/22/09 - Cingular/AT&T WIRELESS 2 site FAP SWAP; Sacramento CA, Houston TX. Run health check of system, compare end health check in comparison.  Fuse alarm panel upgrades, using PCF (portable control frame) simulated power to conform to existing amperage of live system to exchange 12 old fuse alarm panels to 12 new fuse alarm panels, run, dress, label new power leads to BDFB. Zero drop links or interruptions. Complete test results on capture file with daily reports to project manager.

 

04/08/09 - 04/26/09 - T-Mobile 2 site project; San Francisco, Long Beach CA.  Lead Tester. Perform day to day duties of lead tech. Monitor trouble ticket system and CSR tickets. These duties include replacing database cards, fuses, IMT cable causing errors. Test head to head with the switch on new T-1’s and faulty T-1’s for Tekelec LSMS and G-flex. Sweep RF lines with Anritzu sweep gear, Perform system health checks and capture files for ITAC engineers. Complete monthly PM’s and performed Asset Audits on site equipment. Complete daily reports to project manager.

 

02/7/09 – 04/21/09 - EMBARQ 6 site G-flex migration project. Las Vegas, NV, Jefferson City, MO, Osseo, MN, Trenton, NJ, Fayetteville, Rocky Mount NC. Lead Tester, De-install old STP frame and existing cables, Install new G-flex frames for LSMS system equipped with 2^nd Generation DSM cards, HIPR cards, 2^nd Generation EDSM cards, flashed and configured verify GPL levels, ran, dressed 134 High speed links terminated to the customer DSX, verified end to end using streaker board, upgrade existing composite clock source to Hi Speed converted from line source. Run health check of system, compare end health check in comparison.  Complete daily tracking of completed sites on excel spreadsheet and report to project manager.

 

11/01/08 - 1/17/09 - Qwest 8 Site initial install of New Eagle 5 STP. Portland, Lebanon OR, Seattle WA, Littleton, Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, CO, St. Paul MN. Lead/Tester of 3 techs, Complete site surveys and audits for Qwest of their sites including DC amperage test of BDFB and CO ground bar. Installation of Eagle 5 STP seismec frame, equipped with HIPR, T-1, TSM, MPL cards. Ran, dressed 96-multiport cables 768 terminations to customer DSX, verified end to end with Streaker board kit, install inner bay cabling, flash, configure database cards, verify GPL levels and capture files. Daily reports of project status to Project manager on a daily basis.

 

10/12/08 - 10/28/08 - Verizon/Nortel Networks, Los Angeles, Project. Tech assistant CDMA and EVDO new site builds and upgrades Dom-A card swap outs, ATP/Integration. Extensive troubleshooting,T-1 troubleshooting clearing alarms.

 

09/29/08 – 10/09/08 - Time-Warner, 2 site project; Manhattan, NY, Phoenix, AZ. Run health check of system, compare end health check in comparison.

09/01/08 - 09/12/08 - IDT , Newark, Piscataway, NJ 2 site project; T-1 expansion for growth of Siemens GSM, Lucent UMTS and Tekelec G-flex . Tech assistant to Lead project manager; Oversee entire assigned field tech crews, switch techs and NOC Engineering team, conference calls and Face to Face meetings with Customer and sub-contractor companies involved. Reports completed on a daily basis with all updates and progress throughout project until completion.

 

05/26/08 – 6/24/08 - Rogers AT&T 3 site project; Toronto/Markham CAN, Montreal Quebec. Software release upgrade worked with Tekelec ITAC Engineering Team, implementation and migration of 3 DSM 2^nd Generation cards to IPLIM platform thru Garret Hub. Clock upgrade from composite to Hi Speed. Capture files, daily status reports to project manager and customer.

 

02/16/08 - 04/23/08- X/Y Point Communications, Ericsson removal Lead Subcontractor, Seattle WA, Phoenix, AZ. In charge of crew of 6 of de-installation, removal, audit, package and shipping of all equipment from both sites to Ericsson warehouse in Plano, TX.

 

11/05/07 - 12/14/07 -T Mobile, Allentown, Akron PA. 2 site G-flex 3 frame expansion project; Lead Tester crew of 3 Install/ Commission /Integration of Tekelec G-flex to LSMS. Drill floors, mount frames in designated positions according to MOP specs. Run, dress 2awg, H-tap to 6awg DC power to BDFB terminated to G-flex FAP’s, run, dress System/Frame ground, inner bay cabling and link cabling for LAN/WAN, run, dress 32-2 port LIM cables, butt/strip terminate to DSX panel. Verify end to end with Tekelec Streaker Board kit. Test, Flash T1 cards, verify GPL levels and health check of system. Complete turn-up for T-Mobile 3days ahead of schedule. Capture files and daily reports to Project manager.

 

09/17/07 - 09/21/07- Deltacomm, 2 site project; Anniston, AL, Atlanta, GA. Lead Tester

Software upgrade to Tekservers for LSMS platform, assisted Tekelec ITAC Engineers and Deltacomm NOC team in the remote migration/implementation of software load. 

 

07/02/07 - 08/15/07- Verizon Wireless 5 site project; Hickory Hills, IL, Arlington, Houston TX, Matthews, NC, Warrenville Heights, OH. Tester/Installer Install, test 6 shelf fans per site. Completed each project 1 day ahead of time. Boosting production by 23%. Complete sign-off, capture files and status report to Project manager.

 

05/2007 – 07/2007- Adex Corp. Cingular Wireless Philadelphia, PA QA/Drive (in-training Installer) Trained to Install/ Commission and Integration of Nokia Ultrasite GSM equipment, BTS indoor/ NUSS outdoor cabinets. Trained to Test T-1 (T-Berd), punch down Alarms (66-Block), Trained to trouble shoot alarms. 850 & 1900 MHz, NUSS, IBBU, 24V E-folders, QC Auditor. Install cable rack thru entire site and site construction.

 

04/2007- 05/2007- Adex Corp. Verizon Wireless,T-1 expansion project; West Covina CA. Ran, dressed, wire wrap termination 36-25 pair cables to Verizon DSX panel and cross-connects, tests on DSX with the use of the T-Berd, Interconnect of T1 Spans at the DSX on CDMA and network equipment testing the switch over of T-1s with T-Berd 107a’s.
