facilities from the Central Office.
· Responsibilities include studying specific fiber feeder routes to existing and forecasted customer locations as
required by impact growth and the implementation of network overlays. Determination, timing, and costing of
required fiber placement. Creation of Fiber Allocations Areas and Fiber Distribution Areas as verified through
route study. Creation of Planning Packages to time and cost when required, to add Central Office fiber facility
locations to accommodate fiber terminations. Creation of Planning Packages to verify, time and cost projects to
ensure a viable path for fiber placement as required. Projects are studied in various locations throughout the
continental United States.
