·   Ensuring all necessary permits/easements are obtained and filed, when necessary, prior to construction. These include private, federal, state, local, railroad, Corp of Engineers, levee district, etc.

·   Assigning, reviewing and actively managing work schedules.

·   Coordinating construction of facilities with other utilities and governmental agencies.
