RCDD and PMP certified consultant in telecommunications infrastructure, providing expertise in: project management, design, estimating, inspections, evaluations and troubleshooting.

Accomplishments:

·   Currently working on a contract for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in Charleston, producing designs and CAD drawings of telecommunications infrastructure projects for various government installations.

·   Recently completed a contract for Charleston County SC school district, reviewing plans and specs of telecommunication infrastructure for new and/or renovated school buildings to assure adherence to county technology plan, EIA/TIA guidelines and BICSI methodologies.

·   Recently completed a contract for Northrop Grumman, performing quality inspections of communications infrastructure upgrades at US Postal Facility locations across the country.

·   Managed implementation of multiple, large-scale communications infrastructure installations: US Dept of Defense – Picatinny Arsenal and McGuire AFB, Sussex County Community College-Science Lab Building, Christ Hospital-Jersey City, NJ

·   Managed implementation of communications infrastructure upgrades for Paterson, NJ Public School District and City of Paterson ($7M revenue, 2 year project, 52 locations), including implementation of Voice over IP products.

·   Managed upgrade of telecommunications infrastructure for Hoffmann La-Roche Pharmaceuticals in Nutley, NJ ($5M revenue, 2 year project, campus environment with 35 locations).

·   Produced and delivered multi-media presentations on: Technology Overview, Project Management Principles and Soft Skills at management seminars.

·   Structured cabling systems in support of OSP and ISP low power applications (data, voice, wireless, broadband distribution, security, PoE, building automation, FTTx).

Employment History:

8/1/01 to 7/31/05  Director of Operations – Brittashan Tel/Data Inc. – Franklin, NJ

Responsible for the creation and overall operation of Tel/Data division of Brittashan Enterprise Corp. Assured technicians were trained in all phases of implementation of telecommunication infrastructure, and that all projects were accomplished according to applicable TIA/EIA standards and BICSI methodologies.  Handled all design and estimating of Structured Cabling Systems and change order activities. Directed multiple implementation teams, and  acted as single point of contact for client.  Tracked projects to assure on time, on spec, on budget performance.  Researched latest methods and materials in Structured Cabling System arena.  Worked closely with all other crafts on construction projects (electricians, HVAC, plumbers, carpenters, masons etc) becoming very familiar with their associated materials and methods.

9/1/80 to 7/31/01  Senior Technical Rep/Project Mgr – AT&T / Lucent Technologies / Avaya – Basking Ridge, NJ

Worked with Account Executives and Design Engineers, designing custom telecommunication systems for clients such as: Fortune 100 companies, universities, hospitals, Dept of Defense and Dept of State (Picatinny Arsenal, McGuire AFB, US Embassy-Dushanbe, Tajikistan).  Held total responsibility for project managing the implementation of those systems and adjuncts.  I put together teams of 5-15 matrix managed resources (wiring technicians, hardware technicians, engineers, trainers, software developers), acted as single point of contact for the client, to assure on-time, on-spec and on-budget performance.
