I have
just completed assignments working in Minneapolis, MN with Century Link,
after Ashland, KY and Emmetsburg, IA on projects involving AT&T and
Verizon designing Fiber optic cable routes; FTTCS (fiber to the cell site)
for Windstream Communications. Worked with SKT Solutions in NY performing
surveys for communication transmission site to site for Sprint. Just
previously with ITC Services group on an AT&T project in Greenwood, and
Batesville, MS, rendering field notes for (FTTCS) and fiber route design for
Oakland to Batesville, MS. And just prior, working in the Huntington
Beach office for Verizon doing QC for FTTP (MDU/MTU) work orders to pass to
construction. Prior position held was at Verizon in Thousand Oaks, CA.
as an OSP Engineer, primarily focused on the Network engineering for
MDU’s and MTU’s (Mult. Dwelling/Tennant Units) pre-engineering work orders
for fiber build in addition to DOR’s and Quality Control of work orders that
have been redlined and to be released for construction. Familiar with the
following VZ applications; IDDS/ICGS, BDMS, FiOS, iVAPP, RAMS, VBUILD,
CCP(People soft), AAIS, Microstation J & V8, MapInfo, MS Office.
Earlier
at AT&T, San Diego, CA. Field Engineering, resolving
Telecommunication Problem Action Reports and performing Quality Assurance for
posted records. Duties included, but were not limited to, the recovery
of field maps and documents, conduit maps, and the reviewing of current
digital records for completion, modification and/or archiving. Some , but not
limited to the following applications: (CERMS, LFACS, ACE, BST CAD
(principle only, was not going to be used in the western region)

II. Developed packages for Cingular Wireless cell site structures to be
modified and, or the replacement of cellular equipment. Packages
included , but not limited to material lists, panel placement, equipment room
modification, GPS coordinate location, and detailed drawings of equipment

northern California at Napa CA. as a project engineering tech for
the FTTN project for SBC/Pac-Bell; now AT&T. This engaged the
distribution design and conditioning engineering for fiber optic technology
to be implemented through out the San Francisco Bay and northern areas of

Telecom in Duluth, GA. The development of methods and procedures to
create work prints for the field in MS Viso from engineering field notes
following standards set by Verizon. These work prints were to be converted
to IDDS/ICGS format to be utilized in Verizon’s database. Other
experience and responsibilities engaged Bechtel Power Corp., Telecom Division,
included, but not limited to, the design engineering and implementation of
telecommunication Outside Plant (OSP) structures, facilities, and electronics
to meet the service demand for Fiber To The Premise (FTTP-Verizon), Digital
Subscriber Lines (DSL), xDSL and other circuit orders. Utilizing
OSP engineering guidelines and policy directives, planning documents, field
notes, conduit plats, existing and proposed plant records and multiple
databases(IDDS, MapInfo, Microstation, TelcoJ, ICGS,, and AutoCad) to analyze
data prepare specific estimates, routine work orders, and other defined
projects for growth, relief, consumer demand, and damaged plant within the
outside plant network. Growth projects were initiated by documented
forecast requirements or firm customer orders. Experienced
with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) for various markets that were
developing new, or modifying existing roadways for improved traffic flow as
was mandated by the respective Department of Transportation markets that were
served. Involved
with the creation of new, and/or modified the existing electronic drawings to
reflect necessary changes by civil engineering and by electric company
engineering drawings and guidelines in the modification roadways, curbs,
poles, easements, or other facilities to accommodate the building of new
structures, or the modification of existing structures for the installation
of new, or the modification of existing utility cables and facilities to the
standards that had been set by various clients, including; Dallas Area Regional
Transportation light rail system, Southern California Edison, and the City of
Riverside, CA. Electric division. (AutoCad and Microstation) Maintained
MCI/Worldcom fiber optic as-built records, including all modifications to new
