While working for Ameritraing I ran fiber to ODOT poles and ran fiber for cell sites.

I got my own permits and did all required field notes. Places mux and FTB for businesses in Ohio and Michigan for ATT.

 

04/2011-04/2013 ECSM    OSP ENGINEER

 

While at ECSM I engineered fiber to the tower for Verizon, AT&T.  Did pole audits for Windstream to make sure the other companies could get on safely. Did road moves, pole audits for Sunesys, large copper jobs and small copper jobs both for Windstream and Centurylink.

While working with Verizon I did Lite spans and place fiber.  To placing either aerial or buried cable.  Did regular engineer for telephone from pricing to inquiring my own right of ways from state to local. While working at Mountain LTD WAS Project manager on larger jobs. I was responsible for the overall management of the specific project (s) and insuring that the technical solutions and schedules were implemented in a timely manner. Responsible for all aspects of the project including cost schedules, documentation preparation and customer interaction;

 

02/06- 07/08      Gibson and Assoc.    OSP ENGINEER  PROJECT MANAGER

 

While working for Gibson doing FTTP for Verizon in Virginia and Penn.  I QC all jobs from beginning to end before going out the door to Verizon. While planning for Verizon I placed hubs in safe and easy access places. While at Gibson and assoc.

I did most of the MDU'S from small apartment complexes to large 4-10 buildings in a

Apartment complex. I was a Project Manager; I was responsible for the overall management of the specific project (s) and insuring that the technical solutions and schedules were implemented in a timely manner. Responsible for all aspects of the project including cost schedules, documentation preparation and customer interaction; Ensures that all control gates are met on schedule; Performs organizational wide integration planning and interfaces to other functional systems; ensures that the project team members are fully utilized or are made available to support other agency projects to meet the agency billability requirements. I AutoCAD all my jobs per Verizon specs.

 

 

11/04-02/06     RJE TELECOM   OSP ENGINEER    PROJECT MANAGER

 

I engineered major road moves from moving entire pole lines to placing new fiber to a new remote.  Moved 900 pair cable from the air and engineered to go buried. Had to move a cross box and relocated all cables coming from the remote to all homes it is serving.  Located new right-of-way and placed all cable within the right-of-way to service home, including new drops and services to the homes. I engineered new fiber from CO to the remote to feed a new sub-division.  Fiber was buried, underground or aerial to feed homes and cross-box. I did my own measuring with a height stick and wheel. Inspected

All fiber cable while being placed in the ground.  I engineered FTTP from the feeder to the hub, from distribution fiber to placing the hand hole in the yard. Near the end of the project, they placed me in project manager position and handled all of the duties a project manager does. I engineered FTTP using my engineering skills. I engineered small fiber all the way up to 432 fibers to feed either business to large subdivisions placing a new hub and fiber according to the house count.  Placing hand holes in the right-of-way to service the homes. I did my own measuring from height of the existing cable to each span measurement. I inspected all buried fiber being put in the ground to make sure was within required depth. While at Ameriss I  was a Project Manager I was  responsible for the overall management of the specific project (s) and insuring that the technical solutions and schedules was implemented in a timely manner. I was responsible for all aspects of the project including cost schedules, documentation preparation and customer interaction; Ensures that all control gates are met on schedule; Performs organizational wide integration planning and interfaces to other functional systems; ensures that the project team members are fully utilized or are made available to support other agency projects to meet the agency a billability requirements.  While being a Project manager they handed me larger jobs to handle to get them done in a timely matter , under budget and always on time.

 

 

10/92-11/04. HARRIS-MCBURNEY LEXINGTON KY

 

DETAILED ENGINEER

 

Lexington I prepared outside work orders with detailed construction drawings, pricing data sheets, material and labor specifications, engineering design, permits, cut over sequence, transmission design and facility exhaust information. Also conduct final inspection of completed projects prior to final closing by construction to ensure quality standards are met. Perform engineering analysis of outside plant distribution facilities through records review initiate work orders activity to ensure that plant are adequate to meet customer service requirements secure and record right-of-way and easements associated with outside plant work orders. I worked with state of the-art computer programs such as cpms, icgs, wpg, mark and sources. While I was in Lexington I engineered cable for cell sites and other wireless products. I ran cable for t1 and dsl transmitting lines.  I unloaded pairs or placed repeaters for the t1 span line while at GTE I did road moves from buried cable to moving poles. Also while working for GTE south did jobs from a new subdivision to upgrading larger subdivision placed aerial, buried, fiber cable. Placed larger pair gain units from cross-boxes, musks and smu. design a new subdivision from cable to where to place the pedestals for the whole subdivision this position had allot of responsibilities to have everything done in a timely matter in accordance with company objectives and policies to provide the highest quality service at the lowest possible cost. Got my maps and other needed materials

From icgs, mark runs and other computer programs gte uses to get the job done.

 

 

5/88-10/92 D.O.CREASMAN KILGORE, TEXAS

 

DETAILED ENGINEER

 

I engineered jobs from placing drops to extend the cable for a new home. The larger job there was I engineered a 900 pair cable from a remote to upgrade a tailor park and get ready for a new housing development. Engineered a fiber from c.o. to c.o. while working in Texas use a probe and toner to follow out a pair from either a remote to home or c.o. to the pedestal. Used a probe and toner to fine the pair all the way to the end. While at this job received a lot of knowledge of all aspects of outside plant engineering.

 

8/83-8/88 GTE MARION, OHIO

 

I engineered in Marion I drafted to keep the plant up to date. Drew on Mylar maps to keep Ohio current with the cable that was placed out in the field.
