(FIOS) Systems Capacity Management at Verizon Communications including Pon
Card ,Pon Amp Card , New OLT Bay, Video Bay and Hub Splitter Installs
including the necessary “Turn UP” Pics Cards and any other associated
equipment for the FIOS service arena. I was responsible for
expenditures on “Core” type estimates over $50K. I developed several New
Tracking Systems (MOPS) while working in Bell Atlantic on the new B.A.R.R.S
system (Bell Atlantic Records and Retrieval System) and while in C&P
Telephone Company as a System Administrator caring for a 3B UNIX Computer
System in the BMET Area located in Woodlawn West District. I have
supervised work groups of up to 16 associates and have been empowered to
developed Objective Tracking Tools and new system training aids during my
career at Verizon (MOPs). Responsible for 100s of Thousands of Capital
Dollars when working as an OSP (Outside Plant Planner and Capacity Management
Planner in the BMET area (Baltimore Met Area). Responsible for the
dollar allocations and tracking for all expenditures associated with
Estimates for FIOS Central Office Equipment installs including but not
limited to OLTS Bays, PON and PON AMP BAYS, FDT Bays, LGX Bays and G6 Router
and Bays when required. Also any Outside Plant Construction Projects for
Growth and Billable type work for the STATE Roads and sub division work
(POTS). This including Estimates for Copper Core Type Work, Fiber Inner

Offices in Baltimore and Harford Counties. Responsible for capacity
management for those FIOs Central offices as well as Splitter Adds in FIOs
HUBs that required additional splitter capacity. Worked on Capacity issues
associated with the MDU ONTs including capacity management problems for the
Motorola MDU ONTs. Responsible for Core Expenditures for Copper type work
(CORE ESTIMATE) including new growth (POTs) ,State Roads, IOF and billable

BMET Engineering Verizon– 2002-2009 § Responsible for Core (COPPER Cable) planning including all cost
analysis in the Fredrick F1 Facility Plant for numerous new subdivisions
(Copper Customers). I was Also responsible for any and all customer conflicts
and resolutions in that Turf. I was tasked with the responsibility to
track all expenditures for any Estimate type expenditures for the BMET
District and report the results in the District Monthly meetings.
OSP Planning
Engineering - Estimate Preparation , Verizon 2001- 2002 § Responsible for “Core Estimates” for new F1 facility planning for this
division. Responsible for the tracking and analysis of the thousand of
dollars of Capital Expenditures in new growth projects in the BMET area.
Responsible for the tracking of expenditures, man hours, equipment cost and
over runs for each Estimate. OSP Facility Analyst
F2 Plant- Engineering, Verizon 1998 - 2002 § Responsible for “Core Estimates” for new F2 facility planning for this
division. Responsible for thousand of dollars worth of Capital Expenditures
in new F2 facility growth projects in the BMET area. Responsible for the
tracking of expenditures, man hours, equipment cost and over expenditures for
each Estimate. Responsible for the scheduling and mapping of cable
installation for residential and business telephone service, worked with
various construction engineers to ensure proper compliance to Bell Atlantic

“Records Access” work group B.A.R.R.S -Engineering Bell Atlantic , 1996 -
1998 § Responsible for 7 clerks who worked in a new records posting
system a module in the new BAARS (Bell Atlantic Automated Records
System). Had to set up new productivity goals and objectives tracking systems
for this work (SOP). Each Clerk had an area of “fall out errors” to correct
so the data loads were accurate. Supervisor
“BAARS CMA” Module Implementation – Engineering Bell Atlantic –
1993 - 1998 § Responsible for 2 clerks who worked in a new CMA Module (Construction
Management Application) in the new B.A.A.R.S (Bell Atlantic Automated Records
System). Responsible for training of all outside Construction and Engineering
Forces in the new methods and procedures for tracking of Time, Material, and
Revisions in this new system (MOPS). Traveled across the state of Maryland,
Virginia and West Virginia to all Construction Garage and Engineering
Locations to perform this task. Responsible for the development of all
training materials and presentations we used (Power Point Presentation and

(Construction Management Center). Responsible for all daily operations of
work performed by the Construction Forces including force, load and material
issues. Responsible for the monthly inventory of all Construction Cable Yards
in the West District and the daily operations of the 3B – 600 Unix
Computer System used to capture and track all Construction work hours in the
OS Force System. Developed and produced several Work/Force Load reports
while performing this job function. These reports tracked all work hours and
projected “DJB” (Estimated Date Of Job Completion) dates using the all of man

Responsible for 6 clerks who worked with the CMC
and Construction Cable Splicer’s when performing Cable Throws and Rewires
from old plant to new plant. I was also responsible for the computer
administration of the UNIX 3B 600 Computer System functions included Network
Security, New User Installs, Printer Problems and any Maintenance Issues associated
with the Network Modems feeding data in from the Outside Construction Garage
Locations back to the Towson Center located in East District. Supervisor
Construction Cable Splicing Supervisor C&P Telephone , 1986 - 1991 §
Supervised 16 Construction Cable Splicing
Technicians. Responsible for 12 wire centers in Baltimore County area one of
which was listed as the worse the District for Customer Service Indicators.
My job was to correct this situation and elevate this Splicing Crew into a
well functioning work group. When I finished my tour, this group and the
Essex area was rated one of the highest in service indicators and completed
On Time Jobs. I was responsible for all 16 Employees, Trucks, Equipment,
Capitol Tools, Materials and Supplies used in the daily operations of a
Construction Splicing Crew. Prior to 1986 §

became a Residential Telephone Installer (1972-1980) then a Copper Cable
