I have been in the telecommunications
industry since 1991. I started in Cable Installation with inside plant design
of copper, coaxial cable and fiber optic services for telecommunication
networks. Also performed maintenance of these networks for fault locate,
repair, and trouble shooting. By 1995 I was proficient in the termination,
polishing, testing of fiber networks. I have been extremely proficient in
copper networks both inside & outside plant since 1998. I was OSHA
certified in safety in 2003. I have been certified and am proficient in fiber
optic splicing, installation of splice enclosures and distribution panels. I
am proficient in the use of OTDR’s, power meters. VFL. Since 2003, I have
experience with aerial, buried, and underground telecommunications plant. I
am familiar with all Bicsi, EIA/TIA, ANSI, IEEE standards for
telecommunications. I have performed all aspects of copper plant
communications, including placement, copper splicing, termination, and
testing, both inside & outside. I have used the schematics of
telecommunication blueprints & drawings, for the installation of copper
networks, including backboards, cabinets and relay racks. I own volt meters,
Dynatel 965, Sidekick, 710 splicing tool, and all hand tools (66,110, Krone,
Bix). I have studied Cisco systems esp. routers.

designed and measured the placement of facilities for underground, buried and
aerial specifications. Determine and locate placement of innerduct and cable
from existing easements and permits. Locate viable placement for fiber optic
hubs (pad mount & pole mount). Determine and measure locations of fiber
handholds for service terminals to SFU’s &MDU’s (single family units

strand mount terminals and pole mount terminals. Determine fiber optic drop

bores for road crossings. Transfer field notes to final work prints and
