Frontier Communications (FTR)

Manager – Engineering & Planning, Centralized Support

·              Connect America Funding (CAF) – Phase 1 and Phase II programs offered to price cap carriers by the FCC

ü Program Lead of CAF Phase I program launch, network vetting, and capital build approvals 

ü Exceeded strict FCC requirements while under-spending by 6.6% - a savings of over $9M from a $136M capex budget

ü Reviewed and approved 1,567 network deployments from 2012 through 2014

ü Deliver monthly capital spend projections and progress updates to FTR senior leadership

ü Currently directing CAF Phase II vetting and program launch for $284M annual FCC funding for 6 years ($1.7B)

ü Currently building and managing skilled team of 15 senior engineers and business analysts for network plan reviews and capital approval and governance of CAF Phase II network upgrade and expansion – a 6-year program

·              Fiber-to-the-Cell Site (customer:  AT&T)

ü Negotiated new and managed existing FTR-AT&T Ethernet backhaul inter-connections for 4G Ethernet service to over 2,000 cell tower sites

ü Presented weekly updates and roadblock progress to AT&T senior leadership

ü Developed and presented ongoing capex spend projections to FTR senior leadership
