Managed and Directed all operations associated with Track, Signals and Communications throughout the MBTA to include a workforce of 600+ personnel whose duties encompass construction, engineering, maintenance, project management as well as all service and maintenance contract and associated negotiations will an annual operating budget of ($60M) and a capital budget of ($300+M) annually.

·   Design and Engineer all outside plant construction activities that fall upon and or require legal action to secure Rights of Way for telephone equipment and structure for the fiber to the premise(FTTP) program.  Assist other engineers with their design to comply with ROW laws and regulation. Work with cities and towns to obtain Rights of Way as they relate to local ordinances as well as state and federal regulation for the Verizon Fios/FTTP program.
