FiberTower Corporation Director of Engineering, New York Region Managed
the engineering department for a leading alternative provider of
facilities-based backhaul services for wireless carriers included Sprint PCS,
Cingular, and T-mobile in the New York region. Responsibilities
included the design, development, engineering, and implementation of a hybrid
RF/fiber cellular backhaul network connecting wireless carriers cell sites
using 11, 13, 18, and 23GHZ Harris and Ceragon Microwave radio systems. This
application included the delivery of packaged DS3 and STS-1 circuits to
customer’s switched locations over leased circuits from various third party
fiber service providers (FSPs). As
Regional Director, conducted vendor selection, price negotiation, and SLA
agreement for leasing DS3, OC3, and OC12 circuits from other
third party fiber carriers in New York City and Northern New Jersey area. The
