Description: Common Topology Interface (CTI) is the topology component of AT&T’s Performance Management System called PMOSS Compass. CTI is a next generation topology tool, which is supported by all PMOSS applications by processing all router configuration files and delivering topology data to the downstream systems. CTI retrieves the topology data by performing SNMP/CLI operations on routers such as Cisco, Juniper and Redback and updates the internal database, which is stored into Data Store accessible by all downstream systems.

Responsibilities:

·         Participated in system analysis and provided estimates based on the review.

·         Designed CTI modules using Object Oriented Design principles and design patterns.

·         Participated in design and development for multiple topology changes which is an architectural change to the existing design.

Description: The EMEA WHOLESALE VOIP project is about automating the VOIP circuit provisioning for the Wholesale customers in Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA).The workflow and tasking logic is implemented as multiple modules called Workflow controller (C++), AWQM (C++), Business Logic Repository (Java) and PRISM (Java). The system allows the user to define the workflow templates and tasking logic using a Web based client called UPI (Unified Provisioning Interface). The Workflow controller automates the creation of the work when a customer order comes from the ordering system based on the input from the order.

Responsibilities:

·         Implemented new requirements in Workflow controller using C++.

·         Interacted with multiple external applications and retrieved necessary information using Java web services.

·         Designed the system using different Design Patterns including Singleton, Factory, MVC, Adapter and Observer.

Description: BAAIS is Broadband Assignment, Activation and Inventory System. It involves order provisioning for broadband activation and layout for Verizon network. The BAAIS Video MHN performs the Inventory management and Auto Network Provisioning for the Medium Haul Network of Verizon FiOS. The BAAIS Video MHN interacts with Network elements including Tellabs 7100, Tellabs 7100 Nano and Fujitsu Flashwave 4500.The BAAIS activation interacts with the network elements and performs the activation on the Network elements.

Responsibilities:

·         Participated in design, coding and testing in C++/ Linux for the redesign of the existing modules.

·         Prepared the Re Design for the CLR (Circuit Layout Record) Module using Object Oriented Design principles.

·         Implemented the CLR (Circuit Layout Record) with the new design using C++/UNIX.

Description: Integrated Performance Management System (IPMS) is the performance management module of iManager N2000. iManager N2000 is Huawei's NMS (Network Management System) for managing network devices. iManager N2000 is capable of doing FCAPS (Fault Management, Configuration Management, Accounting, Performance Management, and Security Management). IPMS collect performance data from various network devices and give it to the user and it allows the user to perform analysis on the collected data.

Responsibilities:

·         Participated in analysis by reviewing Software Requirement Specification.

·         Designed the application using OOAD principles.

·         Designed the system using different Design Patterns including Singleton, factory, Adaptor, Observer etc.

Description: The Universal Server Manager Agent is developed to support USM to perform certain operations on the server blades. The main focus of USM Agent is to perform installations, up gradations, Fault Diagnostics and to retrieve Vital Product data.
The Fault Diagnostics module is developed in C under Linux and Vital Product Data module is developed in C++ and ACE under Linux/Windows.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Implemented Fault Diagnostics module and Vital Product Data module using C/C++.

·         Implemented Exchange Server using C and Linux which acts as an interconnection between front end CLI/GUI and the back end server diagnostic module.
