·              Full responsibility for all training for Test equipment for PacBell, GTE, AT&T, ASI and Cox Telecommunications.

·              Responsible for dealing with CFST PacBell Committees for approval process for new equipment.

·              trained over 2,000 Technicians for the above companies, on TDR’s, Sidekicks and OTDR’s.

·              Tracked legislation to keep abreast of new regulations resulting in implementation of new equipment types.

 

 

1995 to 1998: Western Pacific Telecommunications Inc.

·              Director of Global Sales & Marketing.

·              Responsible for 21 main OSP Products on a Global Basis.

·              Covered the Far East and worked with agents throughout this region.

·              Also worked with Telmex on an Extensive Basis, Trained on Cable Pressurization, Telsta and Holan aerial trucks.

Logistic control of goods and tracking.

 

1976 to 1987: Hastie Watt and Company Pty Ltd.

·              Managing Director and major shareholder.

·              Manufactured Cable Pressurization equipment for the South African Post Office.

·              Developed and Patented Vaprec, Vapor recovery equipment for the oil industry, world wide Patent rights. TWENTY SEVEN INSTALLATIONS IN SOUTH AFRICA.

1969 to 1976: Westinghouse International Inc. South Africa.

·              Manager Southern Africa.

·              Responsible for the implementation of the PE Series HI-Pressure Centrifugal Air Conditioning units for the mines.

Responsible for the development of the Thermo-King Truck mounted Refrigeration units into the Southern African market place. This was done very successfully:

 

1964 to 1968: USAF:

·              Trained in all aspects of Refrigeration and Cryogenics. 18 months training: Certified Refrigeration, Instrumentation and Controls:

·              Westinghouse Thermo-King extensive Training and Training officer.

·         Light Brigade fully qualified Fiber Optic splicer and Trainer:

·         Journeyman Certified in Air conditioning, Refrigeration and Controls.
