Assist team as they engineer detail, often complex, technical instructions (I-SPECs), author Engineering Guidelines/Standards for new and existing technologies, and order equipment/cables/hardware. Coordinate the following deliverables: project-specific installation designs, engineering database (AAIS, CCP, etc.) updates, equipment configurations, card/port assignments/requirements, power mapping, cable running lists, floor space and rack placement, and detailed Bill of Material (BOM). Facilitate/interface with Operations and other Implementation Organizations to obtain critical pre-engineering information, site specific data as well as redlines and other end of job information. Insure that all engineering documentation (including AAIS, Venue and CCP) is accurate and up-to-date for use by Install, Test, Implementation, Operations, Provisioning, and Audit groups. Duties and responsibilities also include leading the effort to develop and update Planning and Engineering standards, leading FOA projects for new, often complex technologies, and providing engineering support when and where needed. Manage and schedule multiple projects, balance workload of planning on team (and other teams for overflow support), and effectively coordinate with Vendor Technical Management, and Program Management organizations. Oversee reporting, making sure it is timely and accurate.
