·         Project engineering from initial proposal evaluation and capacity planning until final roll out to customer. Engineered initial fiber cable to cell site construction for Verizon North Carolina. And 40% of all DSL construction in Western North Carolina.

·         Financial Analysis – Engineering projects within Budget restraints; 98% effective over a six year period.

·         Saved the company 80k to 150k within each of the last four years utilizing Verizon’s Re-Use Program managing material movement from low producing areas to sites in high demand. Resulting in just in time provisioning and cost reduction of the initial Capital Budget.

Sending materials, practices and drawings to the COEI, (central office equipment installers), managers for the workforce’s introduction to new equipment. Set up conferences with equipment vendors to acquire training classes for the COEI workforce to broaden their skill sets, preparing them to be more productive. This is a new procedure not previously addressed.

Managed activities of 10 central offices in the Durham NC. Area, Including switching and transmission. Secured contacts and assisted with Union Negotiations.
