Skills & Abilities

-Able to splice copper cable in all field environments. Entails all sizes and types of copper cables and all circuits such as DS1, H.S.I, ISDN.

-Transferring of cable pairs (section throws and cuts) for both Copper and Fiber optic cables.

-Fiber optic cable splicing in the new and existing environments. Includes CDFS and GPON, IOF.

-Building and repairing splice cases in all environments

-Basic PC Knowledge of databases (EX: MS word, MS outlook, MS Excel)

-Knowledge of technical equipment: OTDR, FUSION/RIBBON Splicing units, power meters, High Voltage protection, T Bird.
