Inside/Outside Cable Plant Technician II

·          Routinely installed, tested and troubleshot numerous types of copper and fiber cabling in both inside and outside environments. Updated documentation with As-Built changes and submitted for record.

·          Routinely installed numerous types of EMT/PVC conduit to aid in cable installation.

·          Assisted in the installation of network switches, CPU’s and peripherals.

 

AT&T - 2008-2009

Outside Plant Technician

·          Daily identified, fusion spliced, and tested fiber optic cable and introduced new cables to existing plant.  Updated documentation with As-Built changes and submitted for record.

·          Worked aerial and buried fiber splice closures to perform maintenance and cable installations.

·          Routinely utilized buried copper splice closures to conduct cable maintenance and improvements of the cable network.

·          Routinely tested, bonded, and spliced cables ranging in sizes from 25 through 1800 pair.
