d. Labeled, Tested and Terminated all Cat 5 and Siamese cable using cat 5 and BNC Connections, going to routers, DVR's and monitors. Terminated and aimed cameras for Best possible secure picture.

A telephone communications company providing DSL High Speed Internet, Phone and IPTV Service
a. Assisted in testing Central Office DSL equipment and monitoring broadcast for digital blocking. Performed audio levels test and IPTV Head End equipment tests from various points, ports and varies DSL modems, filters, from different locations and distances from various Central Offices, and reported back to Manager all results before IP Television was launched to the public.
b. Serviced and installed IPTV service for residential and commercial customers in the Richmond and Tidewater areas. Duties included Finding and tagging Dmarc, Installing noise reducing filter, (NID Filter). Installing a home run with NEW baseboard jack to NEW modem for speed and errors testing. Ran Shield Cat5e from modem to all TV locations. Connected STB(s) (Set Top Box) to TV's, monitors, home surround sound systems, VCRs, and DVD players. Programmed remote to operate customer's TV Volume when available.
c. Assisted with I & M (Installation and Maintenance) dept when IPTV service was slow. Duties included, Verify and TAG Loop (line). Toned and Attached, Serviced and repaired POTS Lines and (DSL) Digital Subscriber Lines for residential and commercial use. Testing all inside wiring for low stress, and no leaks and removing any shorted inside wiring BEFORE connecting Dial tone. Called customers loop and verified number has been ported and is ready for use.
d. Configured Customers computers for DSL services. Repaired or replaced Inside wiring using Cat 3 and Cat5e shielded using R11 connections, 110 terminating Wall Plates, Baseboard phone jacks. Installed or replaced Cat 5e from modem to set top boxes and terminated with 8P8C connections using a standard Network connection. Installed new modem and DSL/VOICE nid filters to All new IPTV customers
e. Assisted Venders such as Verizon by serving and repairing corroded 25 pair structure cables by replacing Split 50 66 blocks and some straight 66 blocks.
f. Responsible for company vehicle, its inventory, tools, and equipment.
