Erection Responsibilities:

 

v     Erection of New DTs (DistributionTransformers-22KV/433V) Double Pole Mounted Transformers in the range of 40KVA,63KVA,100KVA,200KVA.

 

v     HVDS(High Voltage Distribution Systems) – Erection of Single pole mounted DT’s in the range of 16KVA,25KVA.(22KV/433V)

 

v     Erection of New OH Lines:

Ø      Extension of New 22KV Line with Raccoon, Rabbit conductors.

Ø      Strengthing of 22KV Line with higher size/Equivalent to ACSR-Raccoon and Rabbit conductors on the same supports and insertion of new poles.

Ø      Conversion of 1KM of LT single phase 2wire line to 3phase 4wire line with ACSR- Rabbit and Weasel conductors on the same support.

 

v     Aerial Bunched Cable:

Erection of 1.1KV 3Phase 5wire power line on 9Mtrs supports with average span of 40Mtrs using 3x70 + 1x16 + 1x50 Sq.mm Aerial Bunched Cables(ABC)

 

v     Laying of New UG Cables:

Ø      Conversion of Over Head 22KV Lines with 33KV, 3x400 Sq.mm XLPE cables.

Ø      Triple pole Structures with “UG Cable In & Out with Tapping for DT”

Ø      Triple pole Structures with “UG Cable In & Out with Tapping for Spur Lines”

Ø      Laying of 33KV,3x400Sq.mm,XLPE UG Cable for Bifurication of existing 22KV UG Cable for formation of new feeders.

Ø      Laying of new LT UG cable, 4x240 sq.mm

Ø      Conversion of LT OH line into LT,4x240 Sq.mm, UG Cable

Ø      Erection of outdoor Termination kit(Heat Shrinkable) suitable for 33KV, 3x400 Sq.mm , XLPE, UG Cable.

 

Management Responsibilities:

Ø      Handling the team of 250+ workers, 25+ Engineers and 15+ office staff team.

Ø      Co-ordinate with the Department people for the section level support for the field engineers  to carryout the Quantity survey.

Ø      Co-ordinate for GTP and  Drawing  inspection and  approval.

Ø      Identification and Finalization of Subcontractors with the help of

Ø      Verification of survey data and also to facilitate the field Engineers to getting the approval from AE’s, ADE’s, EE(O&M), EE(General). To getting  the approval for Electrical layout drawings  from RAPDRP Team, SE , CE.

Ø      Preparation and verification of BOQ (Bill of Quantities) after the receipt of drawings from the Site Engineers .

 

Ø      Verification of measurements recorded in RA Bill’s  with measurements already prepared with the survey drawings.

Ø      On daily basis receiving the measurements from the site Engineers location wise with feeder name, Sub division Name, Division Name and Town Name.

Ø      Preparation of Running account bills for subcontractors with the exact measurements received from the site Engineers.

Ø      Preparation of Material planning, Execution Billing & Planning, Collection for Month wise, 4 Months(Quarterly basis)andS Entire project.

Ø      Preparation of Material Indents as required for the monthly work executions as per the Material Planning and send to HO.

Ø      Finalising the Staff, Machinary and Manpower, discussing with Site Engineers.

Ø      Finalization of Non-BOQ items.

Ø      Survey & Execution of the project as per the schedules , drawings and Specifications.

Ø      Finalizing the Quantity for bought out items/Sub contracted terms for Procurement

Ø      Follow up and Liasoning with clients and various  Suppliers for material inspections and getting  Dispatch Instructions to stores.

Ø      Arranging the Inspectors to visit the stores to verify  the material received at stores and obtaining the MRC(Material Receipt Certificates) which is required to submit the RA Bills.

Ø      Getting the permission from the various government offices for work execution in their respective areas such as Corporation Department, Panchayat offices, Metro water and Sewage Department, BSNL and Other Telecom operators, State Highways Department and National Highways Departments.

Ø      Services related points and issues will be coordinated with material Department.

Ø      Preparation of C Form in Co-ordination with Accounts Department and Stores

Ø      Ensuring that the ERP Implementation to be done in each site.

Ø      Preparation of claimed quantity Vs. Paid  Quantity comparison statement

Ø      MIS reports to be prepared and Submitted to HO.

Ø      Implementing and Ensuring the Safety and conducting the monthly safety meeting at site loctions.

Tamil Nadu State R-APDRP (Part –A) Project : Power Transmission and Distribution  System

Nature of the project is to increase and strengthening of power distribution system and up-gradation of  33/11kV network and distribution system to curb down technical and commercial losses.

It includes construction of new 33/11 kV power substations, 33&11 kV HT lines and installation of new district substations etc., It also includes augmentation /renovation of existing 33/11 kV PSS(Power Substation), 33&11 kV Feeders and minimizing of LT Lines etc., using baseline data surveyed  from the field with the help of DGPS survey and new network planning using ArcGIS and AutoCAD Software.

 

v     Handling the team of 100+ survey  team members and 25+ members of GIS team.

v     Study of Existing 33/11 kV Substation Planning and monitoring activities using ArcGIS

v     Preparation of 33, 11 kV HT network and 0.44 kV LT network based on DGPS survey.

v     HVDS Design, losses calculation for both HT & LT networks and identify the benefits of modified system.

v     Planning of new Distribution Transformer and Low Tension network collecting the As-built drawing from Maintenance&  construction team and feasibility will be checked in the field and updating the same into ArcGIS.

The nature of the work is to validate both the network survey data and consumer survey data. Preparing the AOI for base map creation and QA/QC for the newly generated Land Base DB and Integration QC for Network with Landbase DB. Providing In-house and Field Training for ArcGIS, Filed by field explanations to attribute collection (Network &Consumer) to the newly appointed vendors.

This project is mainly concerned with the Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) in all over Tamilnadu circle. The scope of this project is to make sure that all the drawing for a particular BTS should be secured in Center Engineering with there latest change levels.

v     Network cable route Analyzing & Finalizing

v     Releasing the Mark up Drawings for construction

v     Analysis, processing and creation of models from the data provided from the vendors using NE Model Builder.

v     Instance of equipments (models) in facilities (in NE) as per the nodal design documents.

Optimization of Diesel Distribution Project.,

The scope of this project is to Minimize the Time and cost  of  fuel distribution  to Reliance BTS sites( Each BTS sites has operated by Diesel Generator and the diesel has filled by Vehicle by routine basis). This projects includes the  following activities.

 

Efficient Utilization of Optical Fiber Project

 

The scope of this project is to  Efficient and maximum utilization of Optical Fiber laid across all over India. OFC was laid in filed( information’s has kept in O&M and construction team)  but it was not updated in NE . The same has migrated in  NE.

v     Co-ordinate with O&M and Construction Team to the As built mark ups for the fiber route across the network.

v     Input has been validated by the type of ring in the route and No. of .used lines, Damaged lines, Fiber Type, Drum ID, Man Hole details, Splice details obtained with the respective team.

v     QA & QC done for the As built update and migrated in Geo Data Base.

WIRELINE PROJECT MANAGEMENT

 

In this project is to visit at customer end and finding our all the possible solutions to get the building connected with the existing fiber network across it. During this time type of Road, Distance of building from the fiber point ,aerial route feasibility, Road crossing are required or not to be checked.

v     Planning for fiber connectivity, Copper, equipments & Rack are done.

v     With the Detailed study of site survey, Scope is released and IFC drawing for the same is issued. Minimal Capex and optimal solution is obtained through IFC drawing.

v     Co ordination with construction team for implementation of the IFC in field and meet the requirement in time.

 

WIRELESS PROJECT MANAGEMENT

 

v     Site visit at customer end and finding out solution for wireless options.

v     Wireless feasibility such a UBR and WIMAX.

v     Line of site is checked with near by BTS from the rooftop of the building.

v     Route walk is carried out to check the BTS location and also for any High rise building obstruction in-between customer building and BTS. So that the height of the pole/tower at customer end can be calculated to get it connected with near by BTS.

v     Availability of any other customer on UBR at BTS end is cross checked with GIS before confirming for any connections for the second one and also the BTS capacity is checked with transport team.

v     Planned equipment & rack details are incorporated in Telcordia NE.

v     Material availability and co ordination with construction team to make the customer building feasible with wireless network.

 

BIG BUILDING PROJECT

 

v     High value apartments are identified in co ordination with sales team and site visit is carried out.

v     Detailed survey for all possibility of wireless and wire line is carried out, considering minimal capex.

v     Building size, numbers of blocks, Number of occupants are obtained from the respective officials of big buildings/apartments and the plan is designed.

v     Minimal capex & optimal wire line/wireless are obtained and IFC is released.
