KEY QUALIFICATIONS
 

· Construction/Project Manager (Wireless): Directly responsible for construction of assigned cell sites (both green field and roof top) in an efficient and timely manner. In most cases, this requires intense interaction with the site acquisition, preconstruction, engineering, contractors and client representatives to ensure that proposed site go on air on budget, on time, and that all work is done safely following all local, state and federal laws and guidelines. This includes attending site selection field trips with the Site Acq and RF Engineer to ensure that the site can be constructed to the client’s Methods and Procedures as well as answer any construction related questions that land owners may have during these meetings. Checking construction drawings to ensure that all avenues have been addressed in the documentation so that no time is wasted during pre-bid and bid meetings with potential contractors. During and following bid meetings, responsible for getting any questions answered that potential contractor may have. Prior to contract award, ensure that all materials have been ordered and are accounted for before construction is to begin. Upon award of contract, responsible for coaching contract team to build and complete construction activities in a timely fashion while following and ensuring that any obstacles are eliminated and that all this is done following code while getting the job done safely. Throughout this whole process, from soup to nuts, maintain the job binder containing all documentation on the “life” of each project. Upon completion of construction complete, create punch lists and see that all action items have been resolved.

· FTTP Field Engineer: Stake, design through use and interpretation of client provided ICGS data, and CAD project drawings using Microstation, AutoCad, and Visio for FTTP projects on Verizon property in the following areas; New England, Mid-Atlantic, Maryland, Virginia, and Orange and Ventura Counties in Southern California. The use of client’s plats (ICGS) was necessary for proper placement of copper and optical fiber plant to overlay existing aerial and underground facility footprints. Where existing facilities could not support over-build, new facilities were engineered as necessary. Assign counts to feeders and taps as per client current practices while following all design criteria as per Verizon construction standards. Complete all necessary documentation for proposed project not limited to cable ordering forms, equipment parts lists, fiber loss forms, IPID sheets, and many other client driven documents.

· Field Coordinator: Perform site survey packages to aid engineering in putting kitting lists together for project staging. Directly responsible for implementation of equipment refits for Cingular and AT&T Wireless employed through Bechtel Corp. Duties included interpretation of drawings, and adherence to client provided quality control guidelines. Scheduling and reporting of project progress pertaining to several sub-contract entities through company based intranet tracking and managing software. Creation, tracking and scheduling of punch process for job closeouts with general contractor and Client. Implementation coordinator of e-911 equipment in outside and equipment room line-ups in the northeast. Troubleshoot and repair deficiencies found in placed equipment. Attend design build meetings with clients A/E firm to lay out proposed new site build on rooftops in NYC or green field sites in New Jersey. Coach general contractors as to deliverables for project and the closeout documentation needed. Ensure all data is correct and forward through document control process.
· Outside Plant Manager: Directly responsible for all OSP property and issues pertaining to daily and future impacts and operations of optical sonat CLEC exchange covering 160 route miles of a third tier city. Network expansion was driven by equation of potential revenue versus construction costs. FTTP feasibility studies were conducted and construction costs were held strictly at projected cost. Negotiate with local utility companies for duct lease and pole attachments for plant expansion. Procure building entrance agreements from property representatives, design, and coordinate penetration and riser construction. Supervise all hot-cuts, subscriber adds, and emergency restorations make fiber assignments to facilitate installation of new equipment rings serving many large data users. Represent Company interests meeting with various planning officials from state and local government and utility company managers to discuss future projects that may affect the serviceability of existing plant. Responsible for all documentation from as-builts to contractor invoices, including budget projections for upcoming quarters/ year plant costs.
· Field Engineer/Project Manager: Audit and map to scale detailed area distribution lay outs of LEC telephone exchanges from the frame to the end of the exchange service area. Design and recommend projects to alleviate pair availability problems in areas of tremendous growth. Design and stake copper and fiber optic projects for CLEC company building/occupying new/existing underground duct systems and aerial plant that covered dense urban, inner city, and heavy residential areas in second and third tier cities. Detailed distribution planning and layout of proposed areas was necessary to keep from single point of failure problems. Emphasis was placed on mechanized cable placement to keep splices at a minimum as well as make-ready and other costs down. All design of new routes and service drops for dual entry service to multiple structures areas was such to provide for projected growth while being cost efficient. Design, award, and supervise re-route and road moves involving plant affected by surface use changes. Secure all state and local permits for work on ROW. This included ROW investigations, permit applications, pre-bid activities, and on-site construction supervision and documentation. Emphasis was placed on scheduling and “cut” date, thus resulting constant coordination between construction contractors and Client Company. Devise and execute splice plans for network continuity avoiding any single points of failure. Extensive experience with OC sonnet ring configuration in metropolitan areas. Design and project costs for multi-story building penetrations and risers.
· Construction Foreman: Job duties consisted of daily supervision of aerial/underground construction crew. Crew was capable of jobs ranging from building penetrations and risers, urban duct placement, aerial pole line, buried (trench, bore, and plow), and slick site construction. Documentation of personnel and particulars of projects were created and maintained on database, as well as “red lines” for records updating.
· Construction/Maintenance Splicer: Job duties include splicing and cut over of placed cable. This included creating cut sheets and all as built drawings for project at completion. Termination of cables ranging from 12pr. to 2400pr. in new and existing duct systems. Emergency restoration to existing plant after major storm damage resulting in severe outages.
· Combination man: Job duties included placement and cut over of carrier equipment in rural areas. Maintenance and testing of aerial and underground telephone exchange cable.
· Install and Repair: Job duties included “frame to home” installation of premise equipment. This included wiring central office equipment, assigning cable pairs, and termination at the subscribers premise, troubleshooting switch ( x,y ), carrier ( CM8),and1A2systems. Maintenance and repair of 160 square miles of open wire, “C” wire, pulp/lead, and PIC cable.
