Duties included: Reviewing and implementation of designs for Google fiber-hoods, businesses, entrances into Government/ business buildings, and in charge of overall design and planning in KC metro. Review of construction change orders and design changes for all of KC metro. Speak on Google Fiber’s behalf at city and county meetings. Google Fiber’s point of contact, face of the local company, for meet and greets with city officials. Primary point of contact for all construction questions and issues. Managed all large and small scale vendors throughout the project.

Mid-States Consultants- Construction Manager

Preparation of daily progress reports, accounting of fiber placed, construction units placed and overall inspection of construction job from origination to completion and turn over to Telco Owner. Reported to Resident Engineer on a daily basis, when Resident was unavailable I was placed in-charge as interim Resident Engineer. Byers Engineering- Resident Engineer- RUS Project,

In charge of all splicing design, engineering design and all cable order lengths for the Fiber ring around the county. Engineering work consists of Underground, Buried and Aerial applications. 85% of the entire project will be aerial.

Part owner of D&C Consulting. Oversee all aspects of engineering and design. Perform turnkey engineering jobs for Windstream Communications in Lincoln, Nebraska and various Telco’s and CATV companies in Arkansas. Worked on a variety of projects from underground design, engineering and make-ready, to Aerial design, engineering and make-ready.

Ritter Communications NEA Division HFC-CATV- Engineering Manager

Oversaw all construction projects from start to finish for the entire NEA division of Ritter Communications. Within 6 months was promoted to being in charge of all business installs in NE Arkansas division along with managing any and all drops services for NE Arkansas division. Manage the OTN rehab project (Building renovation/ Demolition and Construction). Oversee the rehabilitation and construction of new towers in the NEA division. Be a subject matter expert in all OSP meetings and reviews. Manage bids and contracts for NEA division. Act as the liaison between Executive management and contractors. Taught novice engineers how to become seasoned engineers teaching basic engineering principles and mentoring subordinates on a daily basis.


Qwest/ CenturyLink- Construction Manager

Oversee all construction work performed by contractors for all of Southern Wyoming ( incl, Laramie, Rawlins, Rock Springs, Green River and more). Managed all buried service wire and contractors for the same areas. Managed all bid contracts and performed field inspections prior to approving payments. Inspect and approve all construction contracts and work orders. High level of vendor management since all labor was contracted.

Mountain LTD- Network Engineer (contractor for Bellsouth/AT&T)

Report to project manager on a daily basis. Perform fiber optic engineering with no supervision from AT&T. Designed CO to CO fiber, BICS fiber for businesses also designed remote pads and fiber routes to feed the remotes.

Design copper and fiber plant for routine and specific jobs.  To coordinate service to customer, from origination to final construction and installation.  Act as a liaison between CenturyTel and its customers for new and existing service.  Extensive budget work and cost justification work. Extensive experience with suburban, urban and rural telephone plant designs. Job consisted of management from cradle to grave, design through to construction completion and verification of units placed.
