Arranged state-of-the-art machinery to package the ice and deliver to the customers.  Implemented maintenance with the ice machines as well as the trucks to ensure timely delivery to all customers.   

·         Setup and load ice trucks with an automatic hand lift truck according to certain pre-determined loading patterns for Home City Ice Company Standards. 

·         Setup and Coordinated ice stacking procedures with the plant manager that will be later delivered to various customers around Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.

 

U.S Steel Corporation, Ecorse, MI              2007

Management Associate Co-op

Managed a team of 10-20 maintenance and production crews for the finishing department of U.S Steel Corporation in Ecorse, MI.  Coordinated maintenance activities performed by maintenance repairmen and Shift Managers in the Finishing Units including annealing, temper mill, CGL, EGL and shipping.

·         Provided oversight for safety and environmental activities and compliance of mechanical techs and electrical techs, in support of crane repair, mobile equipment repair, utilities, masonry, welding, pipefitting, motor and wiring repair. 

·         Demonstrated input for replacement parts and assemblies in collaboration with operations.  Responsible for performance management of direct report supervisors and providing guidance to help individuals achieve goals.

Work Study Program for college students required a certain G.P.A in order to maintain employment with the University of Toledo.  Extensive Knowledge of receiving software programs (Arrival, Lawson, etc.).  Proper Procedure of Delivery and Maintenance of various packages from certified carriers to arrive destination.
