Pick up and deliver various size inter-modal containers from Port of Portland terminal T-6, T-18, T-46, T-25, WUT, Husky Terminal, BNSF, Union Pacific railways, NW Containers, Con-Global, and Portland Container Repair. The containers are of various sizes. Most required super chassies to haul them. Deliveries are made mostly in the portland metro area with the use of a three axle tractor licensed to 96,000 pounds.

Additional responsibilities included pick up and delivery for Myers Container Services. This was the delivery of 55 gallon steel drums through out the I-5 corridor in Oregon and Washington. Driver was required too assist in the manual unloading of all drums to the back of the trailer. Drums are stacked three tiers high in 53' van trailers and is physically labor intensive. Often after the unload was completed used steel drums are then manualy loaded into the trailer for return to meyers reconditioning plant in Portland Oregon.

Pick up and delivery of steel, aluminum and copper using a 48' step deck or 53' flatbed. For Klockner Metals.

Additionally I delivered ships spares to Marine Vessals docked and by launch at all the ports in Oregon and Washington.

Daily safety inspections of commercial vehicles in accordance with and observance of all Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations

Safely and courteously drive and operate commercial trucks.

Organize and schedule technicians for on call services due to upgrade related outages. Schedule the repair or replacement of all damaged or defective cable discovered during the RF sweep and balance of the new electronics.

Organize and schedule Aerial, and Underground contractors for the placement of all new cables needed to complete the upgrade.

Quality control of all aspects of the outside plant.

Conduct workplace safety meetings. Permit, and implement the traffic control zones needed for safe construction on public roadways and Highways.

Field engineering for pre-construction and make ready engineering. Profile existing power only poles and determine routing for proposed fiber optic link. Research for right of way, and obtain a grant of entry form property owners. Apply for permits.

Install modems in existing power supplies for a status monitoring. Re-splice electronics if required.

Manage and coordinate various telecommunications contractors for the upgrade of the existing outside plant. The upgrade to a broadband plant involved the outside plant Aerial and Underground, as well as the Head-End.

Conduct testing as well as identify and trouble shoot errors on all upgraded plant from the Head-End to the last end of line tap.

Conduct testing on telephony equipment installed in the Head-end.

Coordinate and direct QC people and contractor coordinators for proper construction and verification of contractor invoices

Review and verify technical documents turned in with invoicing upon completion of work.

Ensure accuracy of all FCC testing requirements.
