Fiber Design

 

·   Supporting Midwest region thru Quality Check (QC) of both pre and post fiber packages - for validation of - fiber design package, requested services, fiber assignment within Fiber Allocation Tables (FAT), fiber trace data verification, DOCK and SalesForce status tracking inclusion.

·   Contributed with V8i Fiber Design As-builting effort in order to migrate that effort from contractor to in-house duties.

·   Created Live Traffic Reports (LTR’s) in V8i to support field personnel to identify potential impacts to customers on required splicing efforts.

·   O/S Managed fiber circuits in V8i and validated or corrected data as required.

·   Created various reports from DOCK for Project Management purposes to assist and assign duties thru various project cycles – Walkout Validation, Fiber Design , Redesign, and Asbuilts.

Supervisor of HFC Quality Control (QC) & Cost Estimating (CE)

·   Contractually supervising a newly formed team of (6) TekSystems employees to meet a TWC goal oriented target to establish a night shift to relieve Cost Estimating and Quality Control workload form TWC dayshift personnel to allow stability to focus on other company driven priorities.

·   Involved in testing and providing feedback to a new TWC Quality Control Tool roll-out which will be used throughout the entire HFC department to grade vendors deliverables, provide guidelines, conformity, & eventually a tool to also validate vendor invoicing and performance.

·   Assisted the TWC team to reach 2,100 Quality Control job completions in first month of night shift.

·   The night shift team contributed to shortening the SLA dates from 36 days in January 2013 to the current norm of 10 to 12 days.

·   Project Managed and coordinated all fiber optic installations for both Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) thru engineering and construction project cycle within the Dallas – Ft.Worth Metroplex, from conception to completion.

·   Conducted feasibility studies and supporting cost proposal for a go or no decision by Alpheus Headquarters in Houston.

·   On project approval, established Scope of Work (SOW) and coordinated with Engineering firm to establish proposed construction plans, for bidding and permit approval.

·   Established a very good and reputable ISP relationship with various building management firms and personnel, with such companies as - Digital Realty, Stream Realty, TelX , and TPI.

·   Project Coordinator supporting and successfully completed efforts in assisting Verizon Wireless to provide Fiber to the Premise (FTTP) to 75,000 customers by year-end 2004, allowing homes the latest state of the art technology fiber solution for expedited data transfer.

·   Supervised a team of (4) TekSystems employees, which attributed to 25,000 address validations in a (3) month period to help Verizon Wireless reach their yearend goals.

·   Reported directly to Verizon to insure all data flow from (2) systems – 1) Interactive Computer Graphics System (ICGS), and 2) Intelligent Drafting and Design (IDDS) was properly migrated to Verizon’s provisioning system – IVAPP.

·   Addressing any DBA sourcing errors for proper cleanup and more important revenue stream generation.
