WAN Engineer

 

Primary Responsibilities

·         Responsible for designing and troubleshooting Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN)

·         Required to troubleshoot Cisco routers, Cisco VPNs, eHealth, Router Management, switches and firewalls in support of military readiness.

Perform system operator's maintenance; prepare reports and other documentation in conjunction with performance testing in support of the AN/FSC Fixed Regional Hub Node (RHN), including the performance of other duties as assigned by the Site Manager.
Good communication skills are mandatory, as well as the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and other contractors.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of four years directly related work experience required.

Additional Requirements:
A+ CompTia Certification is Required.
Possession of an ACTIVE SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; US Citizenship is required.
The Network Technician shall be qualified to operate and maintain a network devices associated with the commercial earth terminal and shall be fluent in theory and practical application of network technology
