Lead-Outside Plant Technician (July-2011 to June-2013 )

·   Operations Enduring Freedom(OEF) and Operations Iraqi Freedom(OIF)

·   Establish Nipr, Sipr and Centrix communications for Battalions, Medi-Vac-Hospitals and all other areas at bases assigned; Iraq Bases; Victory, Mosul, Marez, Balad and Al Asad.

·   Mission was closing and shutting down communications on scheduled bases in Iraq.

·   Working with both SatCom and the TCF (Technical Control Facility) and Help-Desk department for connectivity issues.

·   Running and routing of both copper and fiber-Optic cabling throughout the bases.

Equipment used is for a VoIp network using Cisco routers, servers and switches in the network. Complete Fiber-Ring Infrastructure for maintaining all 3 bases on Tarin Kowt and making resolution of Remedy Tickets posted in Sipr
